I disagree, but why not both? Every other year for each, so we have one or the other to look forward to each year.

I really can't understand why this isn't already the case.

I think the IOC corruption really soured me a few years back. Also cannot stand the constant human interest stories.

I love the Olympics because every event is like Game 7 pressure on steroids. These athletes train their entire lives for one moment, and to execute in that moment is damn impressive.

That and John Williams makes everything seem more important.
