WOW.....Vance on Meet the Press with Welker

BS. The US’s inflation is the envy of the industrialized world. The rest of the world dreams of having inflation around 3%, like we have and as quickly.

If you want to see inflation, elect Trump and watch his 20% tariff plan skyrocket prices.
Please, our economy has been the envy of the world for freaking 30 years. You Hariis/Biden cultist act like this just started under them LOL!!

I LOVED the inflation rate under Trump and wish Harris/Biden had not caused prices to be 20% higher then they were under Trump.

Your are kidding with this right? Harris has come out after Trump has made some policy statments (including no tax on tips)....only to come out and say that SHE is the one who came up with the policy. LOL!
Dude, even with the proof of this on video, these followers will never admit it. For pete sake, they would all still say that Biden is at the top of his game, just like Harris did. 😂

By whose standard Hawkman? Yours???
Hell, Bernie isn’t even a Democrat! You are so phuquin’ blind, you doint see that? Bernie caucuses with the Dems…..it gives his Senatorial position some standing in that Chamber…..allows him to serve on committees and such….gives him a negotiations position,,,,but Bernie is NOT a Democrat! You dumb phuque…..
Good grief, you are an idiot.

$2.3 Trillion

That was not money that was printed out of thin air by the treasury. And, it actually did help the economy. 😂

So he goes from a 7 point edge to a 6…???
Depending on the poll, he’s been as low as 3. Scott is going to win and Scott has always been good to the Puerto Rican community, but the fact that he and other Republicans are even having to respond to this nonsensical racist rhetoric is an unforced error by a guy that thinks he’s funny.

You aren’t real bright, are you? First, I was comparing the inflation rates to the rest of the world that rose due to the pandemic. In this case, the US’s inflation was under control much quicker than other countries because of moves the government made. Comrade Cheetolino wants to put a 20% tariff on all goods coming into the country. That Trump strategy will skyrocket costs and bring the US economy crashing down.

I have to ask: what did Trump specifically do to have a good economy? Hint, he inherited a good economy.

He's not bright at all. He's also a coward who won't answer questions about the effect Trump's tariffs will have on inflation and the economy.

And don't forget that comedians act was approved by Team Trump.

No, he’s not. However, he was at a political rally for a specific candidate. That specific candidate has yet to denounce the comments. Instead, many of his people like Gaetz and Rubio are playing it off like a joke. Scott denounced it outright. Not a good look for the others, but not surprising.

It wasn’t? Where did the money come from?
Months before the Cares act was implimented, congress had set up the Coronavirus Relief Fund. The major pieces of that legisalation that sent money money out were the $300 billion sent directly to American taxpayers. The payment was $1,200 for every adult and $500 more for each child in the household. Another $350 billion was paid out in forgivable loans to small businesses to subsidize their payrolls during the disruption of the pandemic.

And I send President Trump a “thank you” for him “personally” him gifting me a brand new set of golf irons (PXG, no less)……….That $$ should have been vetted more carefully……almost (but not quite) as stupid as Junior’s refunding taxpayers $100 because of President Clinton’s diligence in balancing the nation’s budget during his time in office. Oh, Republicans and how they view and treat our tax money……..

Come on....at least try and provide proof of your claims. This is a joke, right? LOL!

Again, Hyper Inflation started TWO YEARS after Harris/Biden took office. Not during or at the end of Trumps term. Don't lie.

Second, The US was NOT the envy of the world with respect to inflation from covid. As has already been shown in the past, the rate of US inflation from covid (although terrible) was right in the middle compared to the rest of the world. In fact, we were worse then other countries such as Canada, France, Brazil, Britan, Germany, Mexico and China.

LINK - How the Us campared with the rest of the world with COVID inflation

Third, I liked Obama and if he were running right now, I would consider a vote for him. But, Trump did BETTER on many metrics then Obama did.

Now, it is clear you are to stupid to understand that Trump uses the THREAT of tarriffs to get other countries to come to the table. Talk to me AFTER he has implimented them and the economy goes to crap.

Dude, you need to take your meds. But, yes, lets compare golf clubs to the 6 Billion in frozen oil assets for Iran that Obama unfroze from banks in S Korea. He funded their nuclear program and weapons with that move.

“HYPER” inflation???? WTF you talking about? That is a bullshit phrase….If we were experiencing “HYPER”inflation once Biden took office…..we definitely were suffering from a bad case of inflation the four years of Trump’s time in office. Neither was ever the case, however…….
The United States weathered “the inflation storm” much better than any other developed nation in the world. Trump’s advantage over Obama was because Trump inherited a much stronger and healthy economy than what Obama inherited….and then Trump promptly flushed it down the toilet with his inflationary tax cut and his handling of the Covid pandemic.
Trump as an “ecomonist” is mediocre at best. His history is that of tanking a recovering economy and it was a process of removing “side rails” from the economic system in the years leading up to the pandemic as he wrecklessly cut taxes (for the rich) to provide for the revenue cuts his tax plan would create……His term, because of the pandemic, was an epic failure For most of America. And like everything else he touches, it turns to shit and his reaction is to double-down and lie about reality.

That money was illegally taken from Iran…..and like it or not, was rightfully theirs to spend as they saw fit…..Meds….bullshit…..you need to get off the Kool-Aid!

Good grief. You are beyond gone. Inflation on Jan 20th, 2021, the day your hero took office was 1.4%. Two years later in his terms second year it hit a high of 9%+. That is HYPER INFLATION.

You cannot hide from facts. Just because you pretend something you said was true, doesn't mean you are not still actually spouting a pile of Sh!t.

People might (and this is generous) take you a bit more seriously if your arguments had any semblance of facts in them.

LOL - you're too stupid to know why this is a stupid answer.

What would you call inflation in the early Reagan years then?

I didn’t say that. What I said was that Biden has managed to curb inflation more effectively than most of the industrialized world, bringing it down to around 3%—a notable achievement given the global challenges. Inflation initially spiked due to the global pandemic, if you remember that time; it was also when a certain “leader” suggested drinking bleach as a cure.

The link you shared only reviews inflation data until June 2022, which doesn't reflect current conditions. I’m not sure why you're choosing 2022 as an arbitrary endpoint when, today, U.S. inflation is now below 3%. Here are the 2023-2024 inflation rates, along with a forecast for 2025. They look promising to me. Take a look: Statista link to forecast.

Also, consider what would happen to inflation with a proposed 20% tariff on all goods, as Trump has promised. For reference on his tariff proposal, see here: Read about Trump's 20% tariffs here

Trump’s track record on the economy is, frankly, NONEXISTENT—every decision seemingly crafted for his personal benefit. If you’re claiming Trump handled the economy better than Obama, please break down exactly what Trump did that resulted in better metrics.
