WTT Senior Brackets out

By the way, the kids are having fun in Omaha. They are lined up forming a gauntlet for the wrestlers as they enter. Nice to see their excitement as they check out the big screen to see if they're on tv.

Hats off to Thomas. Great day for him. What a stud.

Glad Ramos was gracious in defeat. I loved Ramos as a Hawk, was pretty disappointed in him after the way he handled himself when he left, and now I feel he has redeemed himself somewhat. I hope he and Tom can mend fences.
Very happy for Thomas, and very proud of Tony for his grace in defeat. It's amazing how redemption can be found even in the toughest of circumstances. I'm more proud of Tony in this moment than if he'd gone on to win a world championship. Hats off to him.

I don't like Frank.
I gave you a like here because it was funny. I like to root against him too, but I still dropped $50 on his gofundme to help his family get to Rio, along with several others.

Edit: Now that I read it, my comment came across as a #subtlebrag. That wasn't the intent. The intent was to get the point across that once these guys earn a spot on the World Team, allegiances change.

I don't like Frank.

I don't either, but I have to say I've mellowed a bit in my dislike after his beating Metcalf and grabbing his junk. Maybe it's because I don't typically root for Retherford. Or maybe it's Frank ditching the ugly haircut.

Regardless, these two are the best right now.

So far we have NC State, Iowa, tOSU, and F*** State represented on this world team.

I think Nebraska joins the fold after the 70kg final.

i am sorry thomas gilman, i picked tony to win. i felt like he had the advantage of sitting all day while you ran a gauntlet of national champions and i felt like tony has been wrestling world level competition for 3 years, i am sorry i douted you and i will now donate $50 to hwc for me being a dumba$$.match me

Taylor 4-0 after 1
Burroughs with a great comeback effort to tie it 6-6m but Dake wins on criteria with the 4-point move.

Not a fan of criteria. Let them wrestle to break the tie.

Also, even if determined by criteria, I think the one with more consistent moves should win, not the one with the one big move.

Just my .02 cents.

The guy has some crazy hair styles. By the way, he does not have a good looking head. That man should not be bald. Great improvement over the last hair cut.

We have some very good young guys in this country and some grew wrestlers. Bourroughs, Molinaro and Cox all going to the 3rd match. 3 top 5 or better guys in the world are getting beat by other Americans. I guess I am starting to enjoy freestyle wrestling.

This is an all out brawl. The Clubber, with blood streaming down his face, wins match #3 7-4.

Zain is the U.S. WTT member at 65kg.

haha the interviewer to Zain: "You're a dangerous man".

Zain's response: "thanks"

This action kicks ass. When it finishes I've got the finale of the Wire to watch (took me a while to watch the show)

I'm a Single dad and ex has the boys for the night = 8+ hours of sleep, all the message-boarding I could want, and no interruptions.

Cox leads 3-0 at the break, but Cox in pain on the mat after Taylor drives him out in the second. Looks like a knee. I'll be surprised if this match continues.
