WWE Raw

That was a great swerve that I had no idea was coming. They did a great job of making it feel like The Firm would get involved, so I was looking for that. Don't think MJF needs a voice and I do think Wheeler does, so we'll see how this goes.
I assume Wheeler is going to join Max.

Didn't they feud? Curious to see how that happens if it does.
There's an opening there. I lost my pure title. While Bryan was busy playing footsy with Garcia. Claudio kept telling me to settle things while Bryan did nothing but lose and whine. Then they both lose last Saturday. I bled for u guys at blood and guts. But you never returned the favor. I want to be the future not part of the past. Etc etc.

That's better than anything I've heard Wheeler Yuta say ever.

Well big difference between writing something and being able to deliver it in front of 8000 people saying what? what?. While another million or so view it on various platforms.
The most important thing Wheeler needs to understand is failure. He's afraid to fail. He's already a success by merely being out in that spot to begin with. The audience is already in love with him. Embrace what they like about u.

I went to an SCW Pro show recently. First live small show in a long time. Had a great time.
I was impressed by the quality of the wrestling. The production was better than expected too.
Crowd wasn't huge, but it filled up the venue and the energy was fun.
It was an all ages show, which felt a little weird in a bar. But, I think those kids are probably fans for life now.
They were mesmerized, and it was probably one of the crazier things those 8 year olds had seen so far in their lives.

Ok I said I wouldn't say anything else. But the whole adding Cesaro/Claudio to that faction was insane. Yes he's a foreigner. But he's the right kind of foreigner. Crazy that shit made TV.

War games was fun. Looks like more Kevin Owens and Sammy Uso story for Rumble. Reigns vs KO. For RR. Maybe the build for Sammy vs Reigns at Mania. Sammy wins RR.

MJF gave a killer heel promo last night. Made sure there is nothing cool about his character to cheer. Really needed this going forward instead of tweener bull crap. Hangman getting concussed from his Mox match has added some real juice to them feuding. Even Wardlow looked engaged in his promo with Joe. Instead of bored and going through the motions. Might actually look forward to a Wardlow match. Wheeler and Claudio are not a good pairing. In the ring they are money. But just lack any real charisma for long segments. They gave the Acclaim a full 3 minutes yet it was way better than the JAS vs Combat Club sit down.

Next year should be interesting for the women, in the WWE, Charlette returning, Alexa doesn't seem to be done with Bray quite yet after she put Bianca in a Sister Abigal tonight, Asuka going back to the clown gimmick Kana with her tweets and frustration tonight with the Rhea match. HHH's callback has fortified the women's division on both shows.

Sasha potentially going to AEW? Would help there roster, while not hurting the WWE's at all. If she is really asking for too much money for HHH, will TK bring her in? If he does it's not a good sign. Where does Naomi land?

Riddle 420. Probably should rethink those tee-shirts. Back to rehab he goes.

36 years ago today in the Philly Spectrum - Hogan/Orndorff did a test run of their SNME steel cage match. Orndorff's son, tweeted this today. It wasn't inside big blue, but many similarities to the SNME match, which always was must see tv for my teenage self at the time.

They did that finish a million times at house shows. According to Heenan biography.

It is still baffling that in a time when house show attendance was the major income driver, they would broadcast these cards locally (live and replays) in most the major cities on the east coast (NY, Boston, Philly, DC), but I'm guessing they were still selling out during most the Hogan era.

In one of his recent podcasts, Bruce Prichard said the deal with MSG Network ended (in the mid-late 90's) because they decided it was bad for business and that it likely hurt attendance as they were struggling to draw crowds pre Monday Night Wars.

So reading on the news feed on my phone that WWE released a wrestler because she posted nude pics online.

I only saw a pic with her clothes on but liked what I saw.

Heenan said at the top of that angle they were doing it three times a night. East Coast, grab a plan Midwest, then back on plane to West Coast.

Yet, Vince is going to try and make a WWE return :).

Has to be. Never really a fan. Never really saw anything but a fitness model trying to Cosplay as a prowrestler.
I saw she lost last night, but thought it was because she was headed back up to the main roster, they invested a lot into her as she was the center of the NXT division. Seems odd they would be that quick with the trigger and that they had her drop the belt in the ring if she was essentially terminated, maybe the timeline is different than it appears to be.

She improved a bit on the mic. But still couldn't deliver at a high level in the ring. Character wasn't strong enough to overcome that. Guessing Trips and Shawn were looking for a good way to drop her. She made it easy on them.

Were they going for a 1-2-3 Kid moment to boost future ratings..."anything can happen in the ww...err AEW" ?

Had Andretti ever wrestled before in AEW (don't follow closely) they really going to build this guy or was it a stunt? or more likely a piece to another Jericho look at me story-line.

I'm willing to wager money on it being a Jericho losing his way storyline. Feel like this loss could have gone to Nick Wayne and got the same effect.

Cena on the last Friday of the year to keep his 20 year streak of having a match alive! The fact it's against Roman in the Sami/KO saga is a plus.

Kinda happy to see Cena when he's not shoved down my throat. This actually works for me.
