I'm worried about how R Truth is gonna take this. Cena is his childhood hero.
I can’t believe Cena fooled me for 23 years. All this time he was a bad guy.
Is it really a heel turn if the fans aren’t booing? The follow up will be the key. Need to get more heat on Cena.
That closing was just great. Now I wonder if Cena ends career as a heel or if he will finish as a hero. The next 6 weeks are going to be fun.
I honestly think the fans were stunned. I know I was and I’m not a huge WWE guy.
He’s really good at leaning into the influencer. In more important than all of you shitck. Also amazingly athletic.
But as far as in ring work you always have to put him in with workers with decades of experience. He gets lost in transitions between spots. Also works a bit heavy at times on accident. I’d compare him similar to Chyna really green and protected from getting receipts/learning.
The issue now is with of the behind the curtain shows and pre/post conferences. It’s hard for the fans to respond organically. They’ve been conditioned with bad habits.
It certainly wasn’t Hogan NWO, Flair turning on Sting the first time, or Rollins bashing Reigns.
I’m not pissing in what they did. Thought it was well done. All of the pulling back of the curtain hinders things. At least watching it on TV. Live it was most likely better.
They got fans to make the New Day the most hated act on the roster, I'm betting they can turn Cena. Just depends how far/what Cena is willing to say
Idk, the event felt similar to Taker vs Lesnar. When the streak ended. Hopefully they’ll do more for the fans to buy in.
That. Was. Awesome.....most believable fight of that nature I've probably witnessed in watching this for about 40 years...angry Punk is the most entertaining Punk.
Those two either throw the best worked punches ever, or some of those were landing. I've seen a lot of bar/pull apart fights, and that looked like a bar fight.

I thought when he first came in with the bald head and time gimmick and smoke-show Scarlett had some potential and then Vince went and WWEized him with the costume. Then he grew his hair out and looked half as intimidating as he did bald.
Is Roman coming back at the Garden to interfere in the cage match(?) and turn this into a triple-threat for Mania? Can't see either Seth or Punk taking a clean 'L' this close to Mania.
