I thought the zone in 1st half with 4 guys 6'5 or better messed up Rutgers...Keegan, Kris, CMAC, Sandfort, and JoeT. Zone might work part time vs Indiana since they aren't a great 3pt shooting team. I'm hoping no foul trouble on Keegan or Kris, because someone has to guard TJD and he often draws fouls just for being TJD.

....actually, I have to believe that the Hooisers probably shot their entire load for the Illinois win today. If they didn't, Iowa has a deeper bench to wear them down.
Iowa’s zone defense is so much better this year. It seems in years past Iowa had no idea what “zone principles “ were. So many times it seemed we would have 3 guys guarding 1 player leading to a layup or open 3. Or we would have a guy randomly chasing the ball leaving a player wide open. What an improvement!
