Audi Crooks is a stud…,,

I honestly wish she played on our team although from what I understand there was a question on the staff if she would fit with our style of play. I do believe Lisa could’ve fit her in but she’s an exact poster child of the crap that some of us fight on this board all the time….

If she was currently on this year’s team she would not make us better. A little more versatile, sure, a little more consistent down low, sure….

But she would not have made us better the way we currently are playing basketball and neither would’ve Monica…

We are a position less, perpetual motion offense, that exploits poor rotation and spacing….

A 6-3 plus center that cannot get up and down the floor at least as well as Hannah, or at least AO, doesn’t help us much…🤷‍♂️

BTT kickoff

MD ends Rutgers season.
PSU will end Mich season in about 3 minutes with a 12 PT lead.

Sad season for Mich. Not sure why.
RU seemed to find traction when Jeremiah Williams got eligible but then faded again.
Felt like the program was ready to get onto next season as they welcome the #2 and #3 rated recruits in the nation along with 4 star Sommerville(Marcellus son).

Tomorrow features
Minny vs MSU
Wis vs MD
Iowa vs OSU
PSU vs IU

I will go with:
Minny
MD
Iowa
IU

6 players ejected in SEC title game

Ahh..the joy of good sportsmanship. Looks like something out of the old AWA:

The Hyball is a weekly basketball column

Throw a dart, hit a hero.

The Iowa women's basketball team going back-to-back-to-back in the Big Ten tournament was a sublime coronation of the Caitlin Clark era in Iowa City. There was so much to run down following the victory, it would almost take less time to just watch the game again.

- Clark overcoming (very) poor shooting to rally in crunch time

- Hannah Stuelke's athletic, clutch rebound with less than 20 seconds left

These parents need the death penalty

NEW: Utah parents allegedly r*ped their 15-year-old daughter to "teach" her about s*x because it was safer to have s*x with them than strangers.

Death penalty.

According to an affidavit, the girl called the police and told them that her "father had been r*ping her for at least a year and a half."

The parents even admitted they were committing the crimes but tried justifying it because it was "safer for her than having s*x with strangers."

The parents bought the girl s*x toys when she was 14 after they found online chats and photos of her in "s*xual situations."

The parents would make her watch them have s*x.

The mom denied that the stepfather would have full intercourse with the daughter however a few months ago, the girl confronted her mom about a broken condom.

The father admitted to police that he *was* having s*x with the 15-year-old and the mother knew exactly what was going on.

The parents have been charged with forcible sod*my, object r*pe and forcible s*xual abuse.

Cop demoted after crashing car on way home from bar & reporting it stolen to another police service in attempt to “evade criminal and civil liability"

A Durham police officer has been handed a year-long demotion after he admitted to crashing his car on the way home from the bar before reporting it as stolen in an attempt to "evade criminal and civil liability."

On Feb. 24, Const. Trevor Kathnelson of Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) pleaded guilty to one count of professional misconduct at a disciplinary tribunal hearing presided over by Ontario Provincial Police adjudicator M.P.B. Elders.

Kathnelson was also criminally charged with one count of public mischief, to which he pleaded guilty back in August, in relation with the incident.

According to an Agreed Statement of Facts filed as part of the tribunal proceedings, Kathnelson crashed his pick-up truck in the late afternoon of April 29, 2023 after leaving a bar in Port Hope, Ont.

The documents say Kathnelson, who has been with the service since 2002, consumed two alcoholic beverages at the establishment with a friend before offering them a ride home.

After dropping his passenger off, Kathnelson crashed his truck in the area of Ontario and Molson streets and drove the "heavily" damaged vehicle to a nearby gas station, according to the statement.

There, he left his vehicle and ran to a nearby hotel, where he called his friend and asked him to pick him up, it continues.

In the aftermath of the collision, Elders found that Kathnelson "attempted to evade criminal and civil liability" — first, when he reported his vehicle stolen to the Ontario Provincial Police the day after the crash. Then, when he denied his identity to a Port Hope police officer who attended the hotel.

Through their investigation, the OPP determined that Kathnelson's vehicle had not been stolen and, on May 18, 2023, Kathnelson attended the service's Cobourg division, where he was charged with one count of public mischief.

"Not only did you cause an accident but you deceived two separate police services," Elders wrote in his decision.

On Aug. 23, 2023, Kathnelson pleaded guilty to the charge at the Ontario Court of Justice. He was sentenced to probation and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine.

When deciding upon the officer's professional penalty, Elders considered Kathnelson's "stellar" career, alongside his eventual cooperation with the investigation.

How Iowa's 2022 Big Ten Tournament Title Can Aid the 2024 Effort

Fran and Tony spoke to their 2022 run to the BTT title and how they believe it can help them earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament this weekend.

STORY:

Grades for BTT

Since nobody else did it, I'm bored.

Ayala - B-, I thought he'd get 2nd, got 3rd. Tough loss to DeAugustino, but fought back with good wins over Barnett and Ramos. Probably a 3/4 seed at NCAA's.

Teske - B, Nice opening win, and loss to eventual champion in Semis. VanDee match would have made this an A. Good tournament, hopefully sets him up for decent seed in NCAA's.

Real - B-, again Mendez wrestled great tourney, fought back to get 3rd. Something doesn't look right, still see him as top 4 seed, and still has ability to win it all

Caleb - B-, thought he'd be 4th, got 5th. Wasn't sure with injury how he'd do. Good win over Demilio likely keeps him in top 10 for seeds to NCAA's.

Franek - B, thought he'd get 3rd with crappy draw, and if his eye didn't cause him to MFF, I think he would have.

Cal - B -, thought he'd get 3rd, but man, just got destroyed by MM. Maybe MM is a finalist, but that was rough.

PK - C. With Star out, this was his chance, and he lost. Although thought he wrestled ok against Griffith, loss to Welsh drops this to a C.

184 - Who cares

197 - Glazier, A-, good semi win and loss against a beast. Gave the minus for how bad he lost to Brooks, but oh well. Can't fault this guy, and should up his seed at NCAA's now.

285 - Hill, B- lost two matches against guys he's probably not better than. Throwing him a bone here.
