Although you were probably close this assumes we will or would have beaten Indiana at home. I do not see them losing at home to Maryland on senior night so they likely finish 15-3 and out-right champs.

I think Ind loses 1 of these last 2. Hopefully it's us! If Mary had won @ Pur, I'd say they have no chance @ Ind. but since they lost I think they have a real good shot @ Ind.

How do you go from 11-2 to packing it in? This group, primarily the seniors, are proven non closers. I wanted to believe earlier in the season that as seniors they would get over the hump. Sadly, they are who they have always been, middle of the pack.

Its Iowa, we are good at tanking it in basketball. Look at us since 2006. We were a 3 seed and got upset. Then we go on to tank and hire TL. Then the program gets buried into the ground Todd and company.

Then comes Fran who fights who gets us to the NIT final only to be blown out.
Then we get to #10 in the nation, only to lose 10 of our last 11 and get beat in the first 4
Then we got hot last year and won 6 straight and then got upset by PSU. Beat a good Davidson team and then got beat in a BIG game by Zaga.

This year it seems every big game lately, we lay an egg. I don't know what it is, but we do not have the snipers anymore. We have the people who go and hide. Players seem to be struggling to find their mojo lately. Still plenty to play for, but they need to get it back.

If Im Fran I just run them in practice all day. Doesn't matter about the game, run run run run for their sloppy play.
