This is exactly right.Real’s inability to get bonus could cost the Hawks the outright win.

PK is tough, but he hasn’t shown offensive variability or the ability to finish a go-to shot against the top competitors. Not this year but I disagree in future years. He's a first year starter in the toughest weight in the country. PK has the talent and ability to figure it out against a lot of these guys. I think he gets Hamiti next time they go.
This loss will be on Abe. He should be embarrassed.
He's young, 165 is a meatgrinder and his only losses are to two of the top guys. He has what, 3 years left? He'll figure it out.PK is tough, but he hasn’t shown offensive variability or the ability to finish a go-to shot against the top competitors.
Record books says otherwise. The idea of moral victory in sports dies once you start high school varsity, let alone d 1 college athletics. Iowa athletes will not be happy, and the coaches will certainly have something to say but an ugly win is still a win. That was a win for Wisconsin.
Hopefully Chittum is at 49. If he's at 154 for FS that seems like a manageable cut.Where’s Cobe gonna be next year. Chittum would be 57 you’d think. PK 65. He seems to big and tall for 49.
Iowa would have lost in that scenario with a tie going to Wisky as the second criteria is number of pins.He was favored in that match...
Franklin staying off his back in 3rd PER was HUGE.
Also, a 17-2 TF by Spencer would have meant Tony would have needed a major. Love seeing Spencer going for the pin!!! Please take notes Real, you are talented enough to score bonus points in that match!
Yes that’s true, everyone just seems to slot him in at 57 but I think cobe is really coming to be a name there for the hawksHopefully Chittum is at 49. If he's at 154 for FS that seems like a manageable cut.
His Uncle was hot when he shook Labriola’s hand with 2-3 seconds left on the clock. This could have played into the decision. What's wrong with Nelson today? Feelings hurt because he got beat Friday?
Moral victories count in the imaginary scorebook of feelings. That was a win for Wisconsin.
Uh I'm sure Wisconsin is pretty damn happy right now.Record books says otherwise. The idea of moral victory in sports dies once you start high school varsity, let alone d 1 college athletics. Iowa athletes will not be happy, and the coaches will certainly have something to say but an ugly win is still a win.
Anyone that claims moral victory after a loss is someone that’s gotten to used to loosing.
NopeAny chance against PSU next friday?
But earns NIL money as Fabio body double.Hillger should lose a point for his man-bun
Both Tom and Terry jumped towards the mat. They weren’t thrilled. Terry ran back into the tunnel after that. I don’t imagine it was to say good effort. His Uncle was hot when he shook Labriola’s hand with 2-3 seconds left on the clock. This could have played into the decision.
The only real 'ugliness' was 174-197, and we used 2 backups I presume due to injury. Not really as bad as it felt at the end. And maybe a blessing in disguise. Sometimes an extra motivator can't hurt. We still won.Well that was ugly. Flush it
Duh, my bad. I was alluding more the point that Lee going for the pin rather than TF made the TB go our way. I got lost in my thoughts.Iowa would have lost in that scenario with a tie going to Wisky as the second criteria is number of pins.
So? He's 5-9 and has lost via pin/ tech 4 times this season. That is a Greco specialist.
If that’s true it is a pathetic mindset to have as a d 1 athlete and program.Uh I'm sure Wisconsin is pretty damn happy right now.
Short answer: no, regardless of line upAny chance against PSU next friday?
Fabio has a beer gut?But earns NIL money as Fabio body double.
What I meant was he’s 5-9 and Assad should’ve been looking for him to go upper body. He had no business losing that match at all.So? He's 5-9 and has lost via pin/ tech 4 times this season.
He's a below average D1 184lber folkstyle wrestler.
Assad had no business getting smoked by a guy like that.
Getting smoked is considerably different than getting thrown 1 time early against a really good Greco guy. It’s not like he was getting taken down multiple times, ridden like a mule and turned to get pinned. He simply got caught in the hooks by a guy that is exceptionally good in that position. And had the balls to go for broke. So? He's 5-9 and has lost via pin/ tech 4 times this season.
He's a below average D1 184lber folkstyle wrestler.

Oh yes, I agree completely. My apologies, I misread it.What I meant was he’s 5-9 and Assad should’ve been looking for him to go upper body. He had no business losing that match at all.
Consider the source and his lackadaisical attitude. If that’s true it is a pathetic mindset to have as a d 1 athlete and program.
If you can't see what's wrong with Nelson, maybe stop by the room and ask him yourself, tough guy. The level of stupidity on these boards never ceases to amaze me.What's wrong with Nelson today? Feelings hurt because he got beat Friday?
I see Hamiti widening the gap. He’s a terrible matchup style wiseNot this year but I disagree in future years. He's a first year starter in the toughest weight in the country. PK has the talent and ability to figure it out against a lot of these guys. I think he gets Hamiti next time they go.
Oh I see well let me hear your two cents then.Consider the source and his lackadaisical attitude.
I'd probably agree, but I felt this was one of Kennedy's best matches in terms of aggression and better gas tank. He also neutralized most of Hamiti's offense.PK is tough, but he hasn’t shown offensive variability or the ability to finish a go-to shot against the top competitors.
With our best lineup, no way. Spencer will win. Real should win. In my opinion, that's the only 2 matches we win. Can't wait to see this board after next Friday. With that lineup? No way
Yea. Besides Assad getting caught, wasn’t exactly anything unexpected from either team.Sorry not to join the negativity, but I thought it was an entertaining dual, with Lee alone worth the price of admission.
Other than Assad, we wrestled well even in the matches we lost.
Lee earns the "true" OW for providing a third of our team points.
Cobe gets honorable mention for refusing to believe he's not a top-8 guy.
Assad wasn't ready, didn't finish the shot he took, didn't react with urgency to the situation; he earned it and owns it.
Otto wrestler of the match...GMAFB!!!Sorry not to join the negativity, but I thought it was an entertaining dual, with Lee alone worth the price of admission.

Whatever, just tell your ISU wrestling buddies to maybe leave PK's bank records alone.I see Hamiti widening the gap. He’s a terrible matchup style wise
I recall some thinking the same about Marinelli v Wick..... We shall see.I see Hamiti widening the gap. He’s a terrible matchup style wise
This has been Abe most of this season.Sorry not to join the negativity, but I thought it was an entertaining dual, with Lee alone worth the price of admission.

Punchers chance. I put the match wins over/under at 3.5With our best lineup, no way. Spencer will win. Real should win. In my opinion, that's the only 2 matches we win. Can't wait to see this board after next Friday.
I’ll do my bestWhatever, just tell your ISU wrestling buddies to maybe leave this kid's bank records alone.
