Wasn't Iowa out on either Shaver and/or Clingan after Mulvey committed? (It sounded amicable, I thought, like one of them was friendly with Riley and they just didn't plan to play together or someting). Or did it change after the reclassification? Or maybe I imagined all of it

Maybe just my perception, but this feels like a higher number of offers from Fran per projected open schollie than I remember Fran and staff having made in the past. Is that accurate or a misperception? If so, is that just an indication of more "whale hunting" so need to extend more offers? Insight?

Iowa offered 6'7" SF D. Watson-Saulsberry on Sep 29, 2020.

He can knock down the 3 & he defends.

As you can see, he will be officially visiting Lames.

Will Minnesota's new coaching staff keep this talented Minneapolis kid in state?

And check out the talent in the state of Minnesota. Iowa has offered several of these kids.

These are from this past couple weekends. Check it out & watch:

Iowa offered 6'7" SF Tyler Nickel on June 24, 2020.

N.C. State, North Carolina, West Virginia, LSU and Virginia Tech have also offered.

Nickel, however, wants even more offers.

“I want to go to the school that’s gonna make me the best pro, so I want as many offers as I can get. I want to play in the NBA, and I want to always be in a situation with that goal in mind.”

Nickel knows that with multiple live periods in June and July he’ll have the chance to put his pro skill set on full display for the nation’s top college coaches, which could lead to more offers.

Appreciate the work you do to provide this information, saving the rest of us from having to pour through mounds of messages to get to this info. Thank you.

you are welcome.

i keep the orig post & the thread title current. All 29 offers are in chronological order. I have notes by the recruit like if Iowa were the 1st to offer. i am constantly going back to the orig post for reminders

it will be interesting to see how the 3 open scholarships are distributed

I would be surprised if 1 of the 3 does not go to PG Dasonte Bowen. He paid his own way when he visited Iowa in 2019. I am guessing former HS teammate Josh Ogundele will be hanging out with him to help seal the deal.

So, maybe Filipowski isn't a gimme for Duke?

I am just glad we will have Kyle on campus 2 weeks from tomorrow

Iowa offered Shooting Guard AJ Storr on May 25, 2021.

He is AAU teammates with 2022 PG Richard Isaacs Jr., the Point Guard Iowa has also offered.

I care if Kansas offers a kid Iowa just recently started showing interest in which is why I posted it.

Iowa has talked to and gotten to know a lot of prospects. That has already been discussed when it comes to Udeh. But Fran obviously does not offer everybody he talks to and Iowa has not offered Udeh. Of those Iowa has talked to and gotten to know, however, they have offered 29 prospects.

And again, who gives a crap who Kansas offers.

Deep down, you must be hoping Fran does offer Udeh so that you can then bitch that it is one more kid Fran whiffed on, like you did in another thread, where people called you out.

Link to that thread, in case anybody missed it:
