***2024 Iowa Football Recruiting Thread***

We are off to a great start with Swarm 24 and the momentum appears to favor the Hawkeyes.

Elliot Clough has put in a futurecast for two more possible recruits. They are;

Willian Nolan 3 star OT
6' 6" 275 lbs.
Arlington Heights, IL

and

Eric Karner 3 star TE
6' 5' 220 lbs
Elmhurst, IL

Also, there is a big recruiting weekend coming up in June. Stay tuned.

Oh yea ... we got a preferred walk on from Bettendorf

Leroy Roker, safety from Ft Meyers, FL, is visiting next weekend. I would not be surprised if he commits on is visit.

Roker is having a very good year. Was getting a lot of interest and more offers. Would have been another very good safety in the black and gold. The Bucks sucks!

I think there were two crystal balls for him to Iowa when they heard he was visiting. They came down pretty quick when OSU offered.

I don't think he visited Iowa, probably visited Columbus instead.

Very true, which is why Day was saying at the beginning of the year he needed 11 million in nil per to maintain competitiveness

Up to 6, 4* recruits on 247. Hoffman jumps to the highest rated recruit coming in at 193, Weisskopf up to 195, Nolan up to 215. Cody Fox, Cam Buffington, and Resar round out the 4* recruits. It is laughable how low Rivals has Hoffman. Brevin Doll could be the athlete of the class and drastically under rated jumps up to a 3-4* territory.

I am assuming that Resar will stay at QB short-term to see if it can stick, but that kid has some serious athleticism whether that is at WR or maybe even TE.
