We are off to a great start with Swarm 24 and the momentum appears to favor the Hawkeyes.

Elliot Clough has put in a futurecast for two more possible recruits. They are;

Willian Nolan 3 star OT
6' 6" 275 lbs.
Arlington Heights, IL

and

Eric Karner 3 star TE
6' 5' 220 lbs
Elmhurst, IL

as I posted earlier Iowa now has 11 commits with just 18 SR's listed. they are filling those spots rather quickly.
if they lose anybody to the portal I think they will use the portal to replace them.

Just going off memory, classes that initially only project to be about 18 usually end up around 21 or 22. However, with the increased emphasis on the portal, the recruiting classes of high school and juco kids might start getting smaller for the Hawks.

I disagree. with the portal getting bigger the number of JUCO kids is getting larger and the pool of HS kids is also getting bigger,

plus KF is finally getting that much needed NIL money. that is needed in recruiting these days

there are just so many rides to fill each season they can't get them all anymore.

I had a buddy in high school marking the discus. Discus was flying in his direction, so he turned tail and zig zagged away, only to get smoked in the leg. It was hilarious.

Could have been Jamie Beyer who hit him, if you remember Jamie? About my age from my home town.
