2024 Lineup and Expectation

You're right - who would be interested in a let's be realistic here minute, a physically fit far better than average looking woman who while having a cocktail chest bumps the person next to her after a touchdown? Then maybe take into consideration how much money she donates to charity and by most all accounts is a pretty nice person. Now let's factor into the equation she has more money than some 3rd World countries with absolutely no end in sight when it may stop coming in. Nah - I'll pass and wait for a better option to come around.

WTF?? I have no clue what her politics are and don't really care.
I was flipping Spooner sh*t that he was looking for a sugar momma.
Wish I would have never made the comment because here we are having this dumbass conversation.
Sure.

Depends on what he prioritizes. She is making so much money right now that, if she dropped her purse, it would damn near cost her more money to take the time bend over and pick it up, than to just keep walking...

$150,000,000.00 per year, $2,884,615.38 per week, $412,087.91 per day, $17,170,33 per hour, $286.17 per minute, $4.77 per second.
What is minimum wage per second? I'm too lazy to calculate and figured you had it.

I sense your comments are more because you don't agree with her politics.
Amirite
No, you are wrong.
I don't give a sh*t what her or any musicians politics are. If I like their music, I listen to it.
Why do a group of you want to bring politics in?
Hell, I'll give her props for giving her crew she tours with bonuses from all the money the tour is making.
But I don't find her attractive.
Good Lord, I was giving Spooner a little crap about having a "sugar momma" and now I'm answering this dumb ass question again.

What is minimum wage per second? I'm too lazy to calculate and figured you had it.
What state? The Federal rate is $7.25 per hour, but in MI, the rate is $10.10 per hour. So Swiftie makes what a minimum wager in MI makes per hour, in 2.1174 seconds! In the states that adhere to the federal mandate, she makes the same in 1.51991 seconds!

Now, to your question: Federal minimum wage per second-$.00201. MI minimum wage per second-$.0028.

With Big Cass back in (hopefully), is there a possibility of Keuter dropping to 197?

I believe the answer is an absolutely no way. I know his plans were to put on as much quality weight as he could and he has the frame to do it so no, no way. Unless Im wrong, but no way
He’s listed at 6’3” and 220 on the football roster. I don’t know that there’s 20lbs to lose on his skinny frame.

23/24: Talking line-ups. How do you see our 165-184 log jam playing out? Someone really good is going to be sitting out the next 3 years. This year Kennedy, Caliendo, Brands and Assad. It seems Assad would be the odd guy out but many speculate that Nelson will not go up to 184. So, in this case it would seem Kennedy and Caliendo wrestle off for 165 with the loser possibly challenging Brands for 174.

24/25: I believe Kennedy and Caliendo both have 3 years of eligibility left. Next year we have Gabe Arnold and Angelo Ferrari coming in at 174/184. Angelo will have a red shirt available but it seems like he wants to wrestle right away, and that would bump Gabe up a weight, that may not be his ideal weight class.

25/26: Same scenario as 24/25-Riggins not even mentioned, he kind of gets lost in the mix.

Shoot you can say the same about 149/157 being a log jam.
23/24 Voinovich, Rathjen, Siebrecht, Franek, Anthony Ferrari.
24/25 same guys minus Franek, add Estrada. Hopefully Ryder Block stays down at 141 for the 24/25 season.
25/26 Voinovich, Rathjen, Estrada, Anthony Ferrari

The good news is we have some really good depth from 149-184 the next 3 to 4 years as long as they don't transfer out.

24/25 line up projection
125 Ayala; Joey Cruz
133 Schriever ; Ybarra
141 Block ; Kale Peteren
149 Voinovich ; Rathjen
157 Anthony Ferrari ; Siebrecht
165 Caliendo/Kennedy;
174 Arnold ; Riggins
184 Angelo Ferrari
197 AJ Ferrari ; Franklin
285 Kueter ; Hill

I really think having 4 or 5 very solid wrestlers for 3 weights is something we have been missing for awhile now. While it sucks to have really solid guys sit, it guarantees that your starter has to perform at a very high level to keep his spot. If PSU is replacing AA's with title contenders, we need to as well to keep up. Bring in the studs and let them sort it out. The only downside is how many transfer out if they don't start? PK sat behind the Bull and was as good of a backup as you will find. He would have lost a year there if not for Covid basically giving him 2 redshirts. He seems very committed to Iowa, which I love to see.

If Gabe Arnold and Angelo Ferrari are as good as I think they are going to be then I see Caliendo/Kennedy/Anthony Ferrari fighting for 157/165. Someone will be the odd man out but they is the case most of the times on elite squads. There are AA level guys waiting in the wings.

VERY salty line-up. If they get lucky and get a couple of the gambling guys back, they are right back at the top of the best of the rest. Sadly, even with Iowa putting out their very best lineup, PSU's team is so ridiculous it would take a major injury or some other sort of ineligibility from one of their top 3 guys to realistically have a chance to catch them...

Anthony Ferrari is the only one that could go 57 as far as I can tell. The fight is for the 165 spot and both guys are studs, good problems to have.

Wasn't the word on the street that PK said he could get to 57 if needed when we were hosting Shane Griffith for a visit?

Is it feasible that the 165 odd man out could put on good weight and be competitive with Nelson?

I don't believe it is.

I think the loser of a 165 wrestle off is more likely to stay a 165 backup contingency in addition to potentially spot wrestling for Nelson for his rest/recovery purposes.

You may be right, but our studs will be in the hunt and ready.
Despite our injuries and guys not achieving the results some expected In recent years, I feel extremely optimistic and pumped about our team moving forward.

Don't worry guys, I have the road map thru 2027 for 65-84. Absolutely no faults in this plan😏 I'm also positive that all wrestlers would be fully on board with the proposal;)

74-Brands(sr)
84-Assad(sr)
Kennedy and Arnold place top 8 at Sr Nats and ORS

74-Kennedy(so)

Hey, I like that lineup. I think it has serious potential. I am not knocking Iowa at all. I just think this may be the best top to bottom team PSU has ever had....

---------Iowa----------------------------------PSU
125: Ayala-potential mid AA-----------Howard-if he can actually get and stay healthy he is also mid AA
133: Teske-Fringe AA---------------------Nagao-Top 5
141: Woods-Favorite----------------------Bartlett-Top 4 and could easily be a Finalist with Alirez RS'ing.
149: Voinovich-Fringe AA----------------Van Ness-Likely AA. his NCAA tourney came out of nowhere and he
-------------------------------------------------has to be brimming with confidence.
157: Ferrarie/Siebrecht-Fringe AA----Haines-Favorite
165: Caliendo/Kennedy-see 125-------Facundo/Mesenbrink? Fringe AA for now
174: Brands/Arnold-- mid AA----------Starocci-Major favorite
184: Assad-Fringe AA--------------------Truax-Top 5
197: Ferrari-Top 3--------------------------Brooks-Finalist/favorite
285: Cass-Top 4------------------ ---------Kerkvliet-Top 3

Too much hinges on TF's like Arnold and Ferrari being major point scorers on top of AJ actually being on the team, being able to make 197 and being able to perform like he has in the past after a substantial lay-off. Meanwhile, PSU is returning 2-3x Champs, 2 Finalists, 2-3rd place finishers, 1 4th(3xs) place finisher, 1-5th place finisher and 1-R12er. The only guy not to win a match at NCAA's is at 165 and many think Mesenbrink could be an immediate contender. It's crazy how good this lineup could be...

Edited to add: Going off the lineup I originally quoted, it missed Franek at 157 and then, so did I. Franek should be at 157 this year, correct? If so I would substitute him and put Top 3 next to his name.

They are completely stacked, no doubt about it.
We will need to be at our best with little to no bad injuries to take 2nd IMO.
Michigan, Cornell and a few others have extremely solid lineups, we need a few of the PSU guys to get picked off early.
