I was hopeful Fran was going to take a different approach to recruiting now that his boys are gone. Guess not....
He likes the ones that catch and shoot and dont care much for the ones that do all that fancy dribblin.
Iowa offered 6'11 PF/C Will Garlock on Jan 16, 2024.
He visited Iowa City the weekend of Fri. Sep 15, 2023 (Western Michigan football game).
He also visited Super Bowl Sunday, Feb 11, 2024 (Minnesota MBB game).

Sounds like Wisky is the favorite, but getting a center in next year's class would be a great idea, especially with NIL enticements to top players.
Definitely not a high riser, but unlimited range on his shot. A little bit of a hitch in the shot, which has a low release, but can fade (and end up on his butt) if closely guarded. Decent ball handling skills, but limited quickness.
Another offer today. This is the 51st offer Fran has extended for the 2025 class.

Yeah, hard to imagine how we get him without the NIL resources. Still, maybe the Garza glow will help.
I wonder if Fran prefers to recruit players who do not have agents?
