We can't take our foot off the gas obviously, but we're playing fairly poorly on offense, basically ceding any open jumper Rutgers wants, and we're still up 39-27. That half could've gone a lot worse.
Need to cut down on the turnovers, the fact that we have more turnovers than Rutgers at the half and they average more than us is a little sad.
We need more half-court passes in the offensive game plan.
Rutgers with 35 shot attempts in 1st half
Iowa with 24 shot attempts.
Good thing Scarlet Knights can’t make baskets.

It's not particularly likely, but I can't remember a game where a player could conceivably get 10+ of something in 5 categories (points, assists, rebounds, steals, and turnovers). 4 of the 5 might even be likely at this point.
This team don't give a f*** about turning the ball over though......
I’m really frustrated watching many aspects of this game. Iowa lacks valuing the basketball and is out of control too much. Trying to hard to make spectacular passes when it’s more important to possess the ball and slow up and move it around and run offense. I get it that they like to push tempo but sometimes you have to put the brakes on. I hate ragging on officials since I am one but they did nothing to interject how they were going to manage this game. If you let them get away with being handsy and raking down on the arms then you as a crew set yourself up for the entire contest. Let it go the first half and now what. I just happen to not favor teams that play with their hands. Must be their philosophy for this game and how they decided to call it.

I know, right? Reading through this thread you would think we are clinging to a small lead.
Bluder is not gonna change what this team is at this point in the season........highly unfortunately.
Add in fouls for Iowa if they breath on Rutgers while Iowa getting tackled and nothing.
I see when the ball is on the floor Iowa seems to stand flat footed, bend at the waste and just reach. They don't seem to want to go after it.
I'm honestly not shocked based on how we've played against similar teams.
But also when you turn the ball over as much as we do, it's the great equalizer.
I thought there’d be a letdown after two huge wins, but didn’t think they would play this crappy.
