*** #21 Iowa vs Rutgers WBB Game Thread ***

So, Hawks win B1G outright if beat Michigan this weekend, right??

Even though I don't normally follow them, I'll have my fingers crossed for them to do just that.

I see when the ball is on the floor Iowa seems to stand flat footed, bend at the waste and just reach. They don't seem to want to go after it.
This is a great great observation and dead accurate. You should always bend from the knees. Great post!

It's not particularly likely, but I can't remember a game where a player could conceivably get 10+ of something in 5 categories (points, assists, rebounds, steals, and turnovers). 4 of the 5 might even be likely at this point.
Former one-year Hawkeye Gabby Machado had at least one quadruple double in high school

An apparent difficult fact for you is that 19 wins at this point in season is a good season. Clearly 19 wins "careless" is better than say, 15 "careful".
I may or may not be drunker than you, so it's hard for me to know if your incoherent post was due to the fact that you are, in fact, somehow drunker than me..........................

Btw, you know what's better than 19 wins?

This is what happens to Caitlin every game to some extent. The camera follows the ball and often we don’t get to see this stuff on TV. Big Ten needs to review that no call and issue some suspensions - that may well be coached doesn’t seem to be a “heat of the moment”!!

That's one of the reasons I've started to get a little more upset with officiating this year. It's not so much that I think officiating leads to Iowa's losses (minus an exception or two). It's that players are going to get hurt if this stuff doesn't stop.

Would anyone have been surprised if Caitlin broke her wrist trying to catch herself after that massive push she didn't expect?

And it's not just about stars. Warnock reaggravated her injury against Ohio State because she was hip-checked while she was off balance.

Last night I notice two times in a short time that the big for Rutgers set a pick at the top of the 3 point line and when their player went by and then our player, the defender gave our player a shove. No call. That's Rutgers.

Rutgers got away with several moving screens off their pick and roll. They were trying to force Hawks into switching put Marshall on a big, giving them a rebounding advantage. Michigan will do the same unless we get better at hedging the pick.
