So Auburn winning 4 of their last 13 games got what they deserved….a quasi hime game? Nice logic, doofus.
Sooo getting a chance to play a team that is trending down.... SIGN ME UP.

Surprising to say the least...that's a bad, bad, run at the end of a season! So Auburn winning 4 of their last 13 games got what they deserved….a quasi hime game? Nice logic, doofus.
Like Auburn did, winning 4 out of their last 13?Exactly.... People are only complaining that we didn't luck into a game in Des Moines. You want a home game? Win more and get a better seed.
No argument from me. I just find the “Iowa got what they deserved” crowd very detached from reality. Iowa can beat Auburn if they play decently well. It will take a completely different type of effort to be Houston.Sooo getting a chance to play a team that is trending down.... SIGN ME UP.
Why ouch ? I think we have a good chance to beat Auburn. As far as our seeding goes, the way we finished the season we didn't deserve to be any higher.Ouch
Day to day.....groinWith a star player that got hurt in their conference tournament. Not sure what his status is.
Hold up, Jenny?and yet you ripped on mine. What does that make you? Same level apparently.
I guess the Big Ten conference scheduling Iowa to play at Indiana late in the season was so much of a disadvantage for Iowa. I believe Indiana had the crowd advantage in that game too. How'd that work out for Indiana?Iowa fans for the last week: “I hope we get bracketed to play in Des Moines … Even if we’re on the 8/9 line, it would be great to get to play close to home!”
Iowa fans today: “It is SO UNFAIR for a team to get bracketed at a place close to home, especially if they are only an 8/9 seed!”
I'd imagine many Bama fans bought up these tickets ahead of time, not Auburn fans. Bama fans do not like Auburn fans, just saying. We might have some extra voices on our side.I don’t get why people underestimate Auburn getting to play in Birmingham?
It’s exactly like Iowa playing in DSM. So a 9 seeds gets that luck but not an 8 seed?
Which means I fully expect Auburn to make 15 - 3's against usThey make 6 3s a game.
We got what we deserved. Don’t suck last two gamesNo. The seed was right. Playing a lower seed in a virtual home game for them is not.
They make 6 3s a game.
If you throw out enough stupid predictions, you’ll get a few rightAndy Katz calling it now - IA gets to the Sweet 16. LOL!
I think Rafael Davis echoed that same sentiment but he was vague.
I won't even worry about Katz' pick as being a possible "kiss of death".Andy Katz calling it now - IA gets to the Sweet 16. LOL!

Sasser says he’s fine. Houston is the only team in the entire tournament that is minus money to make the elite eight. And why are they vulnerable again?!?As noted, we should be a roughly 50/50 pick with Auburn, and then are in the bracket with the most vulnerable #1, with one of their better players out. Auburn should not be playing near home, but on paper, this is not a bad draw.
If Iowa plays up to their competition like they have several times this season and gets to the Houston game I like Iowa's punchers chance. The American is down this year and Houston really hasn't been tested much since the non conference. Their best wins on the year are Virginia and Saint Mary's. They have great guard play which usually doesn't bode well for Iowa however. That said Iowa has to first beat a struggling Auburn team.Sasser says he’s fine. Alabama playing in the early session. Hopefully they don’t sell their late session tickets to Auburn fans at a huge profit. Who’s on the committee that gave both Alabama and Auburn basically a home game?I'd imagine many Bama fans bought up these tickets ahead of time, not Auburn fans. Bama fans do not like Auburn fans, just saying. We might have some extra voices on our side.
Are you trying to say that Iowa fans were hoping to get an unfair home court advantage rather than playing at a team with an unfair home court advantage?Iowa fans for the last week: “I hope we get bracketed to play in Des Moines … Even if we’re on the 8/9 line, it would be great to get to play close to home!”
Iowa fans today: “It is SO UNFAIR for a team to get bracketed at a place close to home, especially if they are only an 8/9 seed!”
lol Do you honestly consider your take a positive one?Generally correct. But it’s not “opinions different than mine”, it’s attitudes. The always negative types. Whether it’s Bball or life, they disgust me.
I heard Fran chased the committee into the hallway and called them all "motherf*cking cheating c*cks*ckers!"Alabama playing in the early session. Hopefully they don’t sell their late session tickets to Auburn fans at a huge profit. Who’s on the committee that gave both Alabama and Auburn basically a home game?
Not a single person here was complaining about the seed. Get that through your thick skull. A 9 seed playing a home game is the issue. We got what we deserved. Don’t suck last two games
You didn’t even quote the whole post…
Plus, did you watch Iowa play this year?
Correct.I’m guessing he was confused by you stating we have to win 3+ games to get to the sweet 16. Maybe they (I) misunderstood your post
My thoughts exactly. We have to play a higher seed in their back yard. Notice both Iowa and Iowa State didn't get Des Moines, total bull shit. That is why attendance isn't great. Good ole MSU gets Columbus, five hours from home.Um.....vs. Auburn.....in Alabama. Virtually a home game for them.
I don’t get why people underestimate Auburn getting to play in Birmingham?
It’s exactly like Iowa playing in DSM. So a 9 seeds gets that luck but not an 8 seed?
Im talking about both, lower seeded teams getting to basically play at home. Are you talking about Auburn or ISU?
ISU is podded in Greensboro, NC.
I had heard Sasser is hurt, but I didn't follow up on that info, even though I live in Houston. If the Hawks can't win, I would love to see Houston win it all, instead of one of the usual blue bloods.Sasser says he’s fine. Houston is the only team in the entire tournament that is minus money to make the elite eight. And why are they vulnerable again?!?

Exactly, both Katz and Davis has Purdue winning it all too.I won't even worry about Katz' pick as being a possible "kiss of death".
He's too much of an over-excitable idiot to be taken seriously by anyone.
I have always wondered how Andy Katz keeps his job and some even listen to his blabbering of "inside information". I happened to also pick Iowa to move on, just because it makes the tournament more fun. Hawks are so unpredictable, that picking them to win or lose is a crap shoot.Exactly, both Katz and Davis has Purdue winning it all too.
In fact, I don't think Katz has any B1G losing in the first weekend (might be an exaggeration but generally correct). They're pushing the B1G teams on the BTN understandably.
I’m not really sure what take of mine you are referring to.lol Do you honestly consider your take a positive one?
