Agreed. And after watching and listening to him a bit more last season, I gotta say I kinda like the guy.Me, too. As @MrsScrew would say, I think RU finally has their sheet together with Greg Schiano in charge.

I'm hoping so, still not convinced about our QB situation though. However, I fully imagine the UCLA fans and team heading into NJ looking like this on a chilly October afternoon in Piscataway...
I think he is chillin' now.
9pm they should just be getting home from a night out and ready to flip on the tv.
Not sure the last time we won a regular season game out West
What will the attendance be? 60,000?So are we striping the Rose Bowl?
37 years. Wow
There hasn’t been a ton of opportunities since then though, but Iowa has struggled in the ones they’ve had.
L @ Hawaii 1988 (if that counts as out west)
L @ Oregon 1994
L @ Arizona 1998
L @ ASU 2004
L @ Arizona 2010
It looks like 2010 was the last time Iowa went out west for a regular season game.
Sorry MoralDammit, I'm starting to think we will never get 6am kickoffs on Saturday.
Could technically add @ Colorado ‘92 or even @ Tulsa ‘96.There hasn’t been a ton of opportunities since then though, but Iowa has struggled in the ones they’ve had.

If you move to Hawaii and Iowa eventually plays a game in Ireland, then you may see that for you personally.Dammit, I'm starting to think we will never get 6am kickoffs on Saturday.

Get yourself one of those big six figure RVs.I drive 3.5 hours to go to games so I wouldn't be jazzed about Friday night games for the most part. I could possibly cut out early. But I'd be driving tired and then I'd be locked into getting a hotel room somewhere.
Any Tuesday night Big 12 games yet?
I'd call those bad memories...You guys have good memories...or are good researchers
Naw. Tulsa is in the central time zone. Sioux City is farther West geographically.Could technically add @ Colorado ‘92 or even @ Tulsa ‘96.

Michigan has stated no Fridays at home or on the road. We will see if TV changes their demand.
Not a fan of Friday games. Keep Iowa on the day after Thanksgiving as their token Friday game and let the others take their turn.
Friday night games only work when I have something going on Saturday. But on principle, I don't like it. Friday nights are for high school kids.
I see UCLA must have bought the brother of the TN QB. Just committed to UCLA. Hope he got half as much as big bro got.
Sounds good.
Watch games Friday night, enjoy great fall Saturdays outdoors being active. Win-win for me.
Was it before or after you bumped yourself?I wonder how soon it will take insanehawk to bump the duplicate thread?

Lived in So Cal at that time......drove over to the game!37 years. Wow
Got my hotel set up made yesterday for the UCLA game. Also the flight. Now figuring out the best shot at a cheap couple of tickets. Staying about 1.5 miles from the Rose Bowl. Good enough to grab some sun by the pool with a few adult beverages and walk to the game!
Iowa should take their band to it.What will the attendance be? 60,000?
But I’m talking CHEAP!!!! 😎I don’t think cheap tickets will be a problem
