Works the same as it does today. If you dress up as a woman and walk into a women's restroom, you might get away with it, particularly if you're discreet. The more obvious and obnoxious and over the top you are, the more likely you are going to be identified as a man.
Identified or not, you would be wrong to invade their space. Would you find it okay if I were to install a camera in a women's locker room as long as they didn't know I was doing it?
No cameras are not okay, but if you are using a women's restroom you are not going to see anything private unless you look over or under a stall. Simply being in the same area is not invading my privacy.
Women are saying otherwise. Why don't you believe them?

Every time I go to Europe I always chuckle about what the MAGA types would think when there is a female cleaning lady cleaning the urinals while I am doing my business. Hell in one of my favorite restaurants in the US the toilets are unisex with locking doors and the sink area is communal.
Virtually no one is going into a rest room to peak at people of the opposite sex urinating or defecating. That (literal) shit is disgusting. I don’t want to see or hear a hot chick take a dump…I just want to do my business, shit post on HBOT and get the hell out of there.

Many trans persons have not yet had bottom surgery. Therefore they/them are still males.

Do you think about it right now where there is no law stopping transgender women from using women's restrooms? Personally I prefer to get in and out of public restrooms as quickly as possible. I'm not concerned about who's in the stall next to me.

For starters there is a high likelihood you've already shared the bathroom with trans women and not even known, provided you live in any decent sized city.

I agree, the best practice would be to have gender neutral stalls with communal sinks.
My only concern would be children accidently locking the doors and not being able to get out if there were stalls with full locking doors. That happened once to one of my kindergartners. We had two individual bathrooms with locking doors. One of my little boys went in the bathroom and locked the door. When he was done he couldn't get the door open. The outside of the door had no key hole. The janitor spent a couple of hours tearing the lock off the door to get him out. I was able to slide a couple of books under the door to entertain him, but it was a long afternoon for that little boy.

Once you allow anyone with a dress who professes to be a woman to use a women's restroom or locker room, you lose any ability to prevent anyone from using a women's restroom or locker room, including perverts who get off invading women's places and flashing themselves. What argument would you have to stop them? You don't. There's no longer any barrier to them.

What would a woman have to worry about if a gay biological male enters their rest room? If they are gay they aren’t attracted to her. While we are at it, 10% of the people you have ever seen in a men’s room are gay. I’m guessing none of them has ever tried to sneak a peak at your junk.

This thread is about public restrooms not transgender athletes. That's a different argument. As far as locker rooms go, no one should have to undress or shower publicly regardless of gender.
