Angelo Ferrari Narrows his schools to Final 3 Iowa, Rutgers and VT

I’ll bet my sig that Ferrari beats Chittum first match. Who’s on board?
It’s gonna be razor close either way.
I don’t think you can rule out COBE vs Chittum.
I’m hoping Siebrect makes big jumps this off season and fends off a hungry Anthony Ferrari.
Gonna be so close regardless tho.
Gimme Chittum 5-4 with 3pt td. Chittum fends off and defends in 3 to survive.
if it’s not at carver.
1st period
Chittum td 3-0
Iowa escape 3-1
2nd period
Chittum escape 4-1
Iowa td 4-3
Chittum escape 5-3
Period 3
Iowa escape 5-4

Is the 3 point takedown actually going to be implemented next season or was it just a consideration??
Are you saying takedowns in the first period are the only time they are worth 3 points?
I guess your scoring scenario confuses me. Chittum gets 3 points for a TD in the 1st period but the Hawkeye only gets 2 when he scores a TD in the 2nd period.

It’s the anti-Hawk rule. Everyone else’s takedowns are worth 3. The Hawk’s are worth 2. You get what you earn.

Cobe defied expectations (at least mine) by making a big jump last year to go from #156 to #20. He'll need a similar big jump to go from 20 to top 5. Right now I'm thinking Anthony beats him by a few points...but I said that about Rathjen too. I don't think any of them are beating Chittum, but hoping I'm wrong again.

I agree with you, credit to Cobe for elevating his game, I had Rathjen holding down that spot then Cobe hammered him 7-0. Curious whether Rathjen competes for the 149 spot. He competed at 154 this weekend, his only loss was a close one to Ed Scott. He and Voinovich should be a bit of a toss up IMHO.

149 is the ideal weight for Rathjen. He is a bit undersized at 157.

Oh I don’t do math good.
No idea if they do implement 3pt td. But if they did, then my scenario is tied 5-5 in the third with both guys on their feet. Huge difference there.
Chittum counters a shot attempt to win in ot.

Didn’t he say once that he only primarily focused on wrestling just a few years ago? Was a multi sport athlete in high school right?
