I did as I went out for an hour and a half walk in 24° weather and enjoyed the fresh, crisp air.

Yes. Now I'm helping serve lunch in the parish hall.
48 years old and have never been to church one time in my life. Other then attending a wedding or funeral.
I took the easy route and attended service at Saint Sealy Mattress.
Not that I'm aware of. Maybe when they were kids in the 50's. I should ask them. Funny thing, we grew up across the street from the church in my home town. Small town in Iowa. I can't think of anyone I knew growing up that went to church.
As I age, I find being around a group of people(some of whom I know and like) who are giving worship to something so patently false and destructive, somewhat creepy. Went xmas eve for mom. That's certainly enough for at least a year.

Grandma on my mom's side went when she was older. Assuming she went when she was younger.
No I wasn't, at least if I was I'm not aware of it.
My better half records Catholic Mass if she doesn't go Saturday evening. I may partake in listening sometimes. I really only care about the sermons

She knows that. I don't think it is an obligation. When you have 4 kids going 4 different directions, attending mass is not always feasible

And if you want to refer to Sunday obligation, Carroll county Iowa is predominately Catholic. They all go to Saturday night mass before they go get liquidated.

My buddy refers to Saturday as the sinners mass. But lately he’s been texting me from Sunday at 9 with screenshots of his iPhone timer of the needlessly lengthy (and, honestly, dreadful) homilies of the young parochial vicar.
Saturdays, we typically get the Salesian brother who was a former fbi profiler who is succinct and thoughtful.
I used to call it saint pillowysius when I didn’t want to go when the parents were making me.
Attended 8:00 mass this morning.
