Several players from the B1G need to decide tomorrow if their staying in the NBA Draft or coming back to school. Biggest names right now to keep an eye on are Amir Coffey and Isiah Roby. Indiana also has a few guys weighing decisions. Lamar Steven's could make Penn St a dangerous bottom half team in the B1G if he returns or if he leaves could send PSU into the bottom 4 of the conference.

Amir Coffey is the most interesting right now. If he comes back I could see Minnesota being a top 5 team in conference next year. Little Richard has brought in some nice transfers including a top quality true PG (what last years team really missed). With Coffey this team could be solid inside and out with plus defense and offense.

Isiah Roby is being mentioned as a guy that will go anywhere between late first to late second. If he comes back to Nebraska he could make Nebraska a tricky team next year instead of an easy win.

If Indiana gets all of their guys back they likely sit somewhere between 6th - 9th in the conference next year. If they lose a guy or two they could be NIT at best.

The overall strength of the conference could get fleshed out tomorrow. The B1G could be an absolute beast next year if most or all of these guys come back. Or we could be looking at a conference that drops off in quality around 7th or 8th place. On a side note still can't believe Poole, Iggy and our guy Cook are staying in. Very few draft boards have any of these guys even getting drafted. Michigan could have been a top 5 national team and Iowa could have been top 20 if these 3 came back.

Assuming it is legit. And it seems there are some reasons to doubt it

Interesting that he spelled his coaches name wrong. If this is true it would be a massive blow to Rutgers and the B1G. Rutgers has what could be a top 8 program in the B1G. It's been a rough offseason for most of the B1G teams.

Kaleb Wesson did return to OSU today so they should be a preseason favorite to finish top 4 in the B1G.

If any team can handle post depth loss it's Rutgers.

They have a legit up and comer in Myles Johnson plus Issa Thiam and Shaq Carter are solid.

They also return all of their backcourt, who were mostly underclassmen last year.

I think they'll be a tough out.

Anthony Cowan deciding today is also huge for Maryland. Maryland with Cowan has the talent to be a top 15 team nationally and top 4 in the B1G. Without him they could be just another fringe top 25 team in the B1G.

Green, Durham and Smith all announced today they are coming back. Should make Indiana a solid mid level B1G team next year.

Coffey and Roby gone to the NBA draft. The B1G was looking pretty strong at the end of the season going into this Fall but now it's looking like it could be a pretty average conference. It will be Michigan St as the only legit team followed by Maryland, Ohio St, Michigan and then a whole bunch of ?????? B1G could only have 2-3 consistent top 25 teams next season. Maybe only 5-6 make the dance.

Hard to understand why any of these 3 would have any reason to believe that the NBA would be interested at this point in their development.
