Ava should have been getting 20+ minutes for most of the year. Quick feet. Runs the court well. Creative around the hoop. And pretty good defender for her age and time on the floor. If she is not starting at the 5 all year next year, there is something wrong.

So, your saying coaching is the problem. Jan either won't play a freshman or can't evaluate the talent on the floor.

Syracuse won 5 in 5 days in The Big East, so it is possible, just not very likely to happen. Every team should have a chance to win their conference tournament. It would be interesting to know if it is due to access to a facility for that extra day

I see NC State and Uconn have also done it.

It’s certainly fair the way things are going to question. But you could also say she’s finally showing what she could do? All coaches talk about what you do in practice every day. Jan has been around the team for 20-25 years? And was a great player in her day. She might have made a mistake here. Or maybe Ava just finally found her groove.

I wasn't aware that Jan was allowed mistakes. All coaches make them just like we all do in whatever job we have.
