I'm not a fan of Steveson, but I do enjoy watching Kerkroid get horsed around like a rag doll while taking an L.
The ability to look in the mirror and admit you need to make changes is the mark of a true leader. Brands arrogance is his downfall. He had several opportunities to change Iowa's fortunes. Iowa's resources are endless in the wrestling world. Brands is failing these kids. All the assistants need to go. Clean house and get some new minds in the room. Been saying this same crap for years now.

Iowa wrestlers get outscored late in matches, get outworked late in matches, get outgassed late in matches... that was NEVER a thing. Those were always the things we could count on with our guys.
This program is dead as long as the current coaches are running the show. It's going to be nothing but the same. No scouting opponents, no gameplanning, because if it worked in the mid-90s why wouldn't it work in 2025. Completely out of touch. I'm done with these guys. F*cking embarrassing.

Ben finishes 3rd. He’s an absolute hammer on top, just needs to open up offensively a little bit and he’ll be hard to beat next year.

Buchannon before the final, Caliendo and Ayala are the only guys who have a great or usually reliable takedown getting reputation. Everyone else is inconsistent or weak or not understanding of offense vs top guys.

Kueter won 2-1 with an escape and RT point. Gave up a stalling point and was fortunate not to give up more. Nonetheless, congrats on third place to BK.

Idk but he was definitely gun shy on offense. He had chances to score but decided to rely on his riding ability and not make a mistake.
