My message to Kirk, “move on”.
How can he be 61%??? I thought I he was over 60 one game and under (or close) 50 one game.Cade's stats:

I quit listening to Ferentz a long time ago. I always found him to be evasive and never really say anything of value.A KF presser is always on the list of "Things That Are A Waste Of Time".
No trusts or believes you Kirk

I don't want #1 to happen, but #2 will not happen, and will hopefully keep him out of the hall.2 things have to happen first!!!
* needs 6 wins to pass Woody Hayes on the all time B1G wins list!
* needs to get to a 60% win percentage!!!
I don't want #1 to happen, but #2 will not happen, and will hopefully keep him out of the hall.
He probably will get the record, but I hope not.As you referred to, KF has to get to & stay at a 60% winning percentage to be eligible for the Hall of Fame.
Do you think he can go 13-6 (or better) thru the 2025 season? Personally, I think it will be difficult.
Here are the numbers that are needed:
5-1 (.833): to finish 2024 (puts him at 60.11%)
8-5 (.615): record then needed in 2025
.................................................
13-6 (.684) Total Needed
==================
If KF goes 13-6 through 2025...
Kirk's record would be:
......12-21 (36.4%):.............3 years at Maine....(1990-92)
213-128 (62.5%):..........27 years at Iowa........(1999-2025)
..................................................................
225-149 (60.16%) Overall Record
========================
He probably will get the record, but I hope not.

FIFY. Good coaches don’t need L’s to believe what they’re seeing in real time.he was a little less defensive of the QB and the offense. It takes losses for him to change course. It always has. That's normal for a bad coach. But everyone on the outside could see this coming. Eventually a really bad unit will catch up to you.
Is that Deacon Defcon level?Cade's stats:

Didn’t need to watch or read the notes to know what he was going to say. It’s been the same thing he’s said with every sh**y QB they’ve put on the field. It was said when anyone with a half brain knew Stanzi or Beathard were clearly the best option. But that’s just football. And sometimes you just have to execute better.
He does well on Saturday, the fans will respond accordingly. He doesn't, they won't. If he sputters out of the gate again, there will be grumbling/booing, but it will be mostly directed at Kirk. I doubt anyone starts out a game wanting him to fail, but there is a 7 game body of work and it has not been good, so the expectations are low. The tolerance level is zero at this point. Fans are not going to continue to shower a flailing QB with love and affection if he's not getting the job done. Nor should they have to. It's not personal, it's business. I'm not sure even Pat would say that fans have to accept that if it continues on as it has.

Sullivan - An average of 15 passes per game. 9.7 yards per completion. 6.68 yards per attempt.Brendan Sullivan played in 5 games in 2022 and in 8 games in 2023.
In those 2 years combined he was 134-195 (69%) for 1,303 yds, 10 TD and 5 INTs.
Sullivan would probably know a thing or two more about playing NU's defense as well.Sullivan - An average of 15 passes per game. 9.7 yards per completion. 6.68 yards per attempt.
McNamara (2024) - An average of 22.7 passes per game. 9.7 yards per completion. 5.93 yards per attempt. 6 TDs / 4 INTs.
Stats don't say everything, but Sullivan's certainly hold up. (And it was against BT competition). I wouldn't expect a drop off, but there would be the added element of a mobile QB that can put stress on a defense.
Can't be true as Ferentz said, "CM gave Iowa the best chance to win" and he is never wrong according to the bootlickers.Sullivan would probably know a thing or two more about playing NU's defense as well.

He’s such a blowhard at times KF
It was NOT a forward pass. It was a lateral, and had his knee not been down it would have been a turnover. It was not grounding. It went backward from the time it left his hand, hence a lateral. I don't see how you can say that was not a poor decision.And let's realize it wasn't really a bone headed throw. He was going down and if it's an incomplete pass the ball is back at the 1. There was nothing to lose since he was throwing it. It did start out going forward. It was an attempt to keep the ball near the goal line. It didn't work, but nothing was lost. If it was deemed "grounding" then it's the same result.
