Math is hard.No it isn’t dummy Ireland only has 4.9 million people half the population of Sweden
Who confirmed those 220,000 positives? I know you don't like the question but it's still valid. He has their points out of order.
Their main point is that the mortality rate is much lower than thought because the covid virus is much more widespread than the very few tests that have been done on the most symptomatic people.
The vast majority of these patients found in the Stanford, USC and Miami studies had mild to no sypmtoms.
Sweden released a report a week ago that found the same low mortality rate of .17% that the two doctors claimed. In Sweden they had 1 million positives based on their study with 1700 deaths(1 week ago).
In Miami they found up to 220,000 positives in Miami-Dade with 287 deaths.
Their bottom line is the covid virus is much more widespread in the population than has been reported on. This lowers the mortality rate down to a similar level as influenza. The shutdown is no longer necessary and does more harm than good at this point in time.
Well the fact of the matter is unless you’re over 60 and have multiple medical problems or are over 80 without, you’re chance of dying from this disease is frankly very close to zero. There are a lot of people outside of nursing home residents who are having bad outcomes with this disease. I know if someone I cared about got it I would be very, very concerned for them.
It's very cavalier of you to minimize the impact on thousands of lives.
....using a test kit that yields 10-13% false positives.
How many false negatives? How many that have it that weren't tested?
We've been thru this
You should probably stay in your lane, bro.
You are pseudo intellectual that pretend smugness and big words makes you smart.
We get it - you're not concerned for yourself so everyone else should be unconcerned as well.Well the fact of the matter is unless you’re over 60 and have multiple medical problems or are over 80 without, you’re chance of dying from this disease is frankly very close to zero.
Those at risk need to stay home. The rest of us do not.

And we thought the "Me" decade was in the 70s.
No, an answer for this: if the danger of Covid-19 is equivalent to the flu, why have more Americans died from Covid-19 in 2 months than flu in a typical year, also taking into consideration that the great majority of Americans have not been exposed yet?Yes Sweden has 2400 deaths for 10 million people. Do the math. The mortality rate is so low it does not justify a shutdown.

No. I simply believe that as long as the at risk folks stay out of harms way
Now, see... if you're going to go to the trouble of creating a meme... at LEAST make sure there are no spelling arrows.
I'll try to find out who made it.Now, see... if you're going to go to the trouble of creating a meme... at LEAST make sure there are no spelling arrows.
