The 1st quarter hasn't even ended and the entire arena is booing the officiating. So ridiculous on both sides. I even found myself yelling at my TV when they called some of the fouls on LSU!

These refs are in over their heads. Completely inconsistent and just blowing calls right and left. They’ve missed at least 2 patently obvious travels by LSU. Those are calls junior high refs shouldn’t miss.

I am very disappointed in these officials. Clark's second fould was bullcrap.
Meanwhile, Mulkey has spent most of the game 2 feet on the playing surface. She’s making a mockery of these refs. Just playing with them. And they’re completely feckless.
I work on the scorers table for a college basketball team. I guarantee if LSU was playing in any other situation, they would have had five flop calls, that amazes me that the refs are letting that go.
Biggest game of the year and this is what we get to watch. Thank the Lord for this all women’s crew! Hopefully it will be the last 1
This was a poorly officiated half. Reminds me of a regional final I coached in and ONE REF called 3 fouls each, in the 1st quarter, on the 2 D-1 girls.

Moving screens have been missed too. They’re a great defensive game, but they are getting away with too much and then flopping on the other end.
When this game is over, the officiating is going to be as much, or more, of a talking point as who wins. BUT, they can at least applaud having an all women's crew.
For what it's worth as OP of this post...I hate bringing refs into the discussion. But it seems necessary here. It's hard to ignore. These aren't sour grapes, this is calling out something clearly obvious.
And again FWIW, this game has been horribly called both ways. LSU is just as confused on their foul calls too. When you are more worried about what the ref might call than focusing on playing the game, it makes a huge difference in my opinion.

They (NCAA) puts a product like this in the floor and then puts totally incompetent officials out there. And ugly both ways.

When the color commentator for ESPN is saying “you CAN’T make that call”, you know you have an officiating problem.

It wasn’t intentional. 99 percent of the time the third ref is under the basket. No one was there but she instinctively did it.

I’m not on social media, but I’m being told that the likes of Mike Lupica, Stewart Mandell, a former director of NCAA officials, and other heavy hitters have been tweeting some absolutely scathing stuff about the “officiating” in this game.
Not fond they let Angel Reese mock Clark while standing at the FT line.
Literally every person on Twitter is bashing the refs. I'll never be convinced those refs weren't on the take.
The officiating did NOT ultimately cost the Hawkeyes the game. It was a good season but don’t sully the season by crying about the refs. Just Stop !
