Funny how Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Jones were both at Iowa and were used sparingly.... now both are actually getting meaningful playing time in the NFL.. Ferentz either a bad judge of talent/how to utilize it, or too stubborn to make personnel changes...

At least this proves that you can get actually skilled offensive players to Iowa... The problem is Kirk doesn't know how to use them.

Not sure what is worse, got getting the athletes or having them and unable to utilize them. (I know what is worse for the players!)

The thing is.... If we'd field a QB that isn't the worst in the conference EVERY YEAR, I think we'd actually have a decent offense with the talent we have in the room. RIGHT NOW

But that wasn’t the example in the original post. Everyone is comparing Charlie jones as an NFL player to what he did at Iowa and they pretty much mirror one another.

What he did at Purdue is a completely different example. And I agree we under utilized him. But to take a kick off return in the NFL and use that to show that KF misused Jones is inaccurate and just looking for reasons to bash KF.

People follow Charlie in NFL because of what he did at Purdue after leaving Iowa. The theme is KF/BF underutilized him and they
let him get away. The fact that he's sticking in NFL even as a kick returner show that he is an exceptional athlete. Ragaini for instance, is not in NFL at all and I don't think Vines will get a smell of NFL either.

Meanwhile Eagle fans are loving Cooper Dejean and Hawk fans are also following his career.
