Christmas brunch ideas... What bacon to buy?

Basically going to be having all the typical breakfast stuff.

Want the best bacon and sausage suggestions you got. I'm generally not picky, but have been tasked with buying.

Also perhaps an egg-casserole thing or something similar.

Thick slabs of Black Forest style bacon. Peppery and chewy if cooked properly.
Sweet Italian sausage.

If there is a Fresh Market near your, their applewood smoked bacon is hands down the best bacon.

They also just started selling an Apple Pie bacon. I tried it last week. Very good and the kitchen smelled like I was baking a pie

I usually go with Wright brand applewood smoked. It’s thick and consistently good. I don’t know if it’s the best, but it’s above Oscar Meyer and Hormel, for sure.

Trader Joe's uncured applewood smoked is the way to go. If you can't get that, get Nueske's.

My casserole type recommendation is a bacon/sausage, egg and cheese crescent roll ring.

Whole Foods - Pederson Farms Applewood Smoked

For breakfast sausage I get the roll sausage vs the pre-made patties. Big difference in texture and taste.
