I mean he hit him right in the head, but used his shoulder. Purdy wasn't defenseless so that's why shoulder to head contact wasn't targeting, and that's what they don't understand. They're upset because they're comparing it to a previous ejection of an ISU player who DID hit a defenseless player.CF was losing their mind about targeting despite the fact it clearly wasn't targeting. The OU defender never hit Purdy above the chest area.
The real goal this season for ISU was becoming bowl eligible.
Mission accomplished.
Pollard needs another billboard along I-380.
Did Purdy get benched again?
A lot more than he has game winning plays. Dekkers might not be good, but he’s an upgrade from Purdy.Remember when Twins said Purdy is the most clutch college football player in Iowa or ISU history? How many times has he shit down his leg during big moments? 😂
Right, don’t you dare mock the defending Fiesta Bowl Champions. I mean they did beat a team that ended up 4-3. A feat that won’t be seen anytime soon by any other school just ask clown fans.Do not mock the defending 2020 Big 12 Regular Season Champions!!

To quote someone...........YIKES
If you had to script the most frustrating season possible for Cyclone fans - it would look pretty similar to what's happenedBiggest, baddest season in Clown U history results in....
Iowa 9-2
ISU 6-5
If you had to script the most frustrating season possible for Cyclone fans - it would look pretty similar to what's happened
Preseason - most hype ISU has ever had including 3 all Americans
Gameday comes to ISU/Iowa AGAIN and the winner gets a top 5 ranking - all eyes on Campbell and ISU
From that point on, ISU has had every one of their goals ripped away from them one after another:
Iowa game - Campbell, Brock, Hall FINALLY beat Iowa - NOPE, but CFP and Big 12 hopes still alive
Baylor game - CFP hopes gone, but its just 1 game, still have reasonable Big 12 championship game hopes
WVU game - another tough loss but with some help and good play the Big 12 championship hopes are still alive, barely
Texas Tech - Big 12 hopes officially gone, but at least we can play spoiler to Oklahoma before they bolt
Oklahoma - lose again, fall to 6-5 with their best team ever
And with each soul crushing setback, Iowa just keeps stumbling forward into a possible 10 win season with a really bad offensive line, QB play, and terrible playcalling. Even when we're "bad", Iowa is 3-4 wins better than ISU's greatest team.
