Because Iowa and Cade grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory against the Cyclones earlier in the year and squandered numerous chances to make the season memorable. And ISU has certainly made their season memorable.
ISU is taking advantage of their situation…Texas and OU no longer in the B12, not playing the top teams in the conference this season, it is what it is….ASU going to be w/o their top wide receiver today. If they win, think they go the route of MSU in the play offs and get beat up pretty good if they have to go to PSU, Georgia, or a Texas.
Iowa fans shouldn’t be upset with ISU and their situation but more so upset with KF and his handling of the Iowa offense and how he wasted three years of elite defenses and special teams by trotting out a craptastic offense week after week, year after year defending it instead of looking to improve it season after season. That didn’t happen and who knows if Iowa will have the ability to put out suffocating defenses like they did in 21, 22, and 23. I hope Lester can turn it around so we can see Iowa compete for the occasional B1G title and possible play off berth if a top four team in the B1G.

Greatest season ever and all anyone will remember is getting exposed on national TV. It was nice to ASU to call off the dogs, this could have been a 50 point loss for the clones.
