Those trying to claim that this class is just fine are full of it. KF was unable to turn any players with this great year. When the iron was hot he did not seem to use it.

Which is no surprise.

Next year I doubt it will be any different.

He has averaged this type of class his entire time here. Even two years after the other really good seasons.

It strikes me as a high-ceiling class. Lots of very projectable frames with good athleticism. The amount of TE/LB/DE/DT/OT frames are high. Time to start lifting and eating.

I think we did a really good job of filling needs. The guys we got are solid guys that will be great if they just follow the path laid out gor them. The only area that I think could have been a little better is the oline.
I think defensivly we did great.

I think this class is a little above average for ferentz and co to be fair

Big Ten recruited better as a conference apparently, We Wisconsin fans are very happy, as are the Northwestern fans and Nebby had the highest rated class in the division.

As far as this class is concerned one big, big problem continues and that's WR's. This staff just can't get it done at that position. Just stating the obvious. Otherwise I like this class a lot. Lot of undervalued guys like Hooker, Beyer, Young, and Jones to name a few.

Onlyonenow - by all of your responses you are either in 3rd grade or just so confused how coaching and recruiting works that this response will be a wasted 30 sec of my life. Why did Nick Saban leave Michigan State? What was his record at Michigan State? What did he say about recruiting within a radius of Alabama? What his is record at Alabama? There is a huge difference recruiting at Michigan State and Alabama just like their is a huge difference recruiting at a Iowa and Ohio State. Just because you have "high standards" doesn't mean you win National Championships. Last question - if your standards are so high what is your job? And provide proof? I bet you aren't at the top of the food chain in your job Mr High Standards.

Please don't compare the prestige of Iowa to Alabama. I love Iowa and have my own expectations but you have to be a little more realistic. There are many other factors other than recruiting that goes into getting players and Iowa is at a disadvantage in those other areas.
