How does Holden qualify for Oregon and not Iowa? do they have super special courses?
Don't know, information for undergraduate admission requirements is not available in my google searches
He has offers from Okie State and Houston now too...hopefully he connects with the recruits and team this weekend and commits!
As has been posted several times, it was likely something beyond academics alone that caused Iowa to back off of Holden.

It's correct that Iowa did not back off Holden due to academics. Alabama asked him not to return as well.
Our D success and a Butkus award winner surely doesn't hurt here in this case! Iowa offered out of HS as well.

I have mixed emotions about Brian….. I still think he’s a good coach that was in a tough situation and would be fine with him staying and proving that

That would be fantastic! Eases the loss in that position. Probably starts day 1.
I think Brian is a good OL coach. He's out of his element as an OC.
He definitely needs some time away for things to cool off, but I'd welcome him back in a few years as OL coach and run game coordinator again. He excelled in that role IMO.
Not my info. Just that it's been hinted at by multiple Iowa writers for months now, and backed up by other posters in the know.
