I see Iowa very much heading in the right direction on all this. As others have pointed out this system at some point will break. We don't have the resources to play the big money game and no reason to try.

If we can hire a guy like McCollum we can carve out our own niche. He works well with guys who have a chip on their shoulders and want to work hard to compete. We can become a destination for players not looking for a big payday or who get overlooked. If we do things right we don't have to let NIL get in the way.

All BIG and SEC schools are going to be at $15M for football. The difference will be in the splits for other sports.

They just sold out the season without her and i would be willing to bet a lot they do it again next year. They're in on a bunch of five stars. By all accounts it's driving big traffic to places like the register that cover Iowa sports. And women's sports nationally have been growing. Unless the program collapses it's going to remain popular.
