No men have been shit for a long time while the women's team had no problem winning alot before Clark...Iowa caught lightning in a bottle with Caitlin. It will never be repeated. Give the money to the men.

So that actually happened? WVU tried to hire him a year ago, but McCollum said no thanks? If so, maybe he was holding out for the Iowa job, knowing that Fran wouldn't be around a whole lot longer.Mac strikes me as the kind of guy where a lot of the normal job decision logic doesn't apply. So happens to work in our favor.
I'm not worried about WVU. Why would be suddenly accept this year after declining last year?
Pryce actually was a decent defender and can drive the lane. He would be a key player to return. Actually in McCollum's offense you didn't see the bigs floating around outside, solid rebounders who block out. When a shot went up, everybody pounded the boards.
Home is home! Just like that great song Country Roads says..."Country roads take me home, to a place I belonggggg....". Come home Ben!!
I mean, that's really the only way to win with that roster.
pretty impressive

WVU cannot pay him more than Iowa. They may have better NIL, but we far outpace WVU in total revenue which gives us more resources to offer salary.

If he loses tomorrow, his number is probably $3.5. If he wins, it’ll be north of $4.it will be interesting if Ben gets close to a $4M/year deal

Here's one that was overlooked for BM. So good he has an award named after him.I would guess DII teams competing for National Titles are comprised of a fair amount of DI players who were overlooked.
Yeah I get the feeling Iowa is gonna have to pony up for BM. You want quality, you've gotta pay for it, but worth every penny IMO.I think he’s gonna get 4 from Iowa regardless. Which if he really is interest in coaching here will be almost impossible to pass up. Especially if there’s any semblance of a plan to boost NIL for men’s bball.l
Wade probably told his players that it was a tryout for NC State (for those who have eligibility left).
I love blowhards who say stuff like this. They usually end up eating their words.
