I bet NU is proud to possibly have an alma mader like BigNUFan51.Out of curiosity, do you make a living sending out badly spelled phishing emails? I feel like I have seen your work before.
Well then get him out of your closet.Nobody scares me more than Scott Frost.
I’ll call LP extermination servicesWell then get him out of your closet.
I've heard about your mader. He dominated his alma mader at Wisconsin.
Another coach at IL who will romp over Nebraska. Yawn...He dominated his alma mader at Wisconsin.
You're specialBert is a bully. He’s got a killer instinct unlike the Iowa head coach.
Berts a different man now. He’s cleaned up his act and even lost a ton of weight. I think you are going to see a very committed football coach.Well, the bulliness didn't get him very far in the SEC did it.
I will admit Bert is a bully. He beat the hell out of those all you can eat baby back ribs when he was with the hogs.Bert is a bully. He’s got a killer instinct unlike the Iowa head coach.
What, are you trying to give him a blowjob? You seem to love Bert more than Bert.Berts a different man now. He’s cleaned up his act and even lost a ton of weight. I think you are going to see a very committed football coach.
That Iowa coach who has whipped your team 6 years running? The one who got your last 2 coaches fired? Okay...Bert is a bully. He’s got a killer instinct unlike the Iowa head coach.
Big illini fan now? I totally get it. You're sick of cheering for the basement dwellersBerts a different man now. He’s cleaned up his act and even lost a ton of weight. I think you are going to see a very committed football coach.
What do the skirts have for a coach then, a “hider”Bert is a bully. He’s got a killer instinct unlike the Iowa head coach.
That's exactly what I keep hearing folks from Nebbie say and how is that shaping up?Give BB four years to recruit his own players and we will have another contender for the west division title.
NU is Northwestern. Nebraska is UN.That Iowa coach who has whipped your team 6 years running? The one who got your last 2 coaches fired? Okay...
Yeah ... I've always ascribed to that perspective. Barry always had a pretty firm grip on the reins of the football program (even as an AD). That was arguably a contributing reason why Andersen left the program ... even though his teams were winning. Barry had been a constant for that program ... thank goodness he's finally retiring!Barry Alvarez was far more instrumental for Wisky’s success than Bert.
I have often wondered how much of it was Brett B. and how much was Barry pulling the strings. maybe someday we will figure it out.Barry Alvarez was far more instrumental for Wisky’s success than Bert.

As for Brett coaching the Illini ... he certainly knows the B1G. He's also a pretty good recruiter. However, compared to his earlier years ... he's probably viewed a little bit more as a "has been" these days ... so I wonder if he'll still be able to recruit at the same clip.
Lastly, there is a big difference from the situation Brett had at Wisconsin ... inheriting a program that had a "winning culture" and had a blue-collar work-ethic ... as compared to the Illini ... a program that is rather far-removed from the old days when they once had a respectable football program. Lovie Smith is a fine coach ... and it took Lovie a while to rebuild the culture for the Illini. I'll be curious as to what the culture will look like for the Illini under Brett. I honestly have no idea what to expect.
give Bert credit where credit is due. He took Wisconsin to heights Barry couldn’t. They haven’t been as good prior to or since Bert was in charge.
New heights? Please elaborate .... your comment smacks of hyperbole.give Bert credit where credit is due. He took Wisconsin to heights Barry couldn’t. They haven’t been as good prior to or since Bert was in charge.
So on flip side would you say Scott frost has taken Nebraska to the lows they haven’t been since prior to him? 3 losing and bowl less seasons.give Bert credit where credit is due. He took Wisconsin to heights Barry couldn’t. They haven’t been as good prior to or since Bert was in charge.
This should be a good answerSo on flip side would you say Scott frost has taken Nebraska to the lows they haven’t been since prior to him? 3 losing and bowl less seasons.
