Does this mean we're 73 better than nebby?

The real question is which offense shows up next week in Madison, the one from this weekend or the previous one?

I hope the team never thinks they've arrived. They have to fight like hell every week. They have to practice hard every week. That's what it takes to win in the B1G. tOSU thought they had it made, and they got to watch Iowa take their season yesterday. There are no free passes, no taking days off, this is B1G football. It's Wisconsin week, and it's time for the fellas to go to work.

I am afraid Wisky will see how our offense performs against a standard defense and compare it to previous weeks where the defenses had the box loaded with 8 and 9 bodies.

Prepare to see the defense overwhelm the Oline again and come downhill to a RB or the QB.

Short quick slants and a few screens to Wadley might be in order.

If you can stay pretty vanilla, but still get the wins against other opponents, it opens the door for a game last night. We didn't get some of those other wins this year, but I still wouldn't trade them for last night.

You can't break tendencies if you don't first create tendencies.

There is more to these upsets than just being motivated.

KF finally got revenge against Meyer for that Outback Bowl screw-job.

The Hawks played an amazing game. Every facet was close to perfect.

Congratulations!
Well, I wouldn't say Iowa's early defensive backfield play was "close to perfect" as they gave up those two long TD passes.

I would kinda feel bad for Riley if that's how he went out.

He is already a dead man walking. Nothing Iowa does or doesn't do will help him now keep his job as Nebraska is a hot mess right now with their team playing like garbage due to very poor coaching.

It will be interesting to see if they can hold onto their recruits once a coaching change is made. I wonder if they will make a change if they get the guy they want versus finding a coach to fill the position as I don't see Scott Frost leaving Florida for the hot mess that is Nebraska.

I expect Nebraska will be 5-6 going into our game with a bowl bid on the line. Also saw this on ESPN:
Iowa on Nov. 24 can hand the Huskers a fourth straight home loss in the same season for the first time since 1961, one year before the current 360-game sellout streak began.

Im only hoping its that close.

Got Damn that was something to watch....

I was thinking ol Urbs would have to be hauled out on a stretcher, glad to see he was able to walk out of the stadium.

I think Frost would be crazy to go there, but he would get a longer leash at Nebraska than Florida. On the other hand if he fails at Florida he can always go back to Nebraska. I think Bielema would be a great fit at Nebraska, but I think their fans will want someone like Leach or Chip Kelly. I think they would both be bad cultural fits at Nebraska and not good system fits for them either. I am pretty confident Nebraska will do the wrong thing and hire another bad fit like they did with Callahan and Riley if they don't get Frost.

That's why I hope we come out throwing ball.....and keep throwing it
Just because it's iowa/wis doesn't mean we have to run it 80% of the time :D
