I am not sure what the coaches would do or not. But I stand by my earlier comment. After what happened with Barta there is no way he will sign off on Downey. There was so much negative pub to Iowa with Barta and another non-football or basketball sport (field hockey at the heart of the case) no way Barta would allow Downey. I feel bad for all coaches at Iowa cause no pushing the envelope. I mean ISU football took a Utah juco felon recently who lost scholarship offers from Florida St and others due to his armed robbery. Barta isn't going to allow anything questionable at Iowa especially if not football. My 2 cents.
