ESPN: ISU had easiest path to Sweet 16

Myself I was more concerned about playing a #12 seed that had beaten a 5 seed than playing the 5 seed that had won their first game against the #12. A couple of years ago a 11 or 12 seed went deep into the tourney.
Apparently the 2 and 5 seeds in the Midwest bracket were over rated or else the 15 and 12 seeds were under rated. Even after a year of ranking the system isn't perfect.
An example of any team can win or can beat each other how ever many times they play. Indian Hills had beat a team twice during the season winning one game by 30 points. Yet they lost their first game in the junior college tournament by 9 points to the same team.
Some people or teams can be brilliant on a week by week basis but don't get high scores on important tests.

The Big Ten has more tourney wins right now than the Texas Ten.
Must ignore though because clown fans say so.
I don't necessarily think any of the team's were over rated. Sometimes the better team doesn't always win as upsets do happen.
ISU has more tourney wins than all but 15 other teams in the country. That's all that really matters. I'm not sure I understand the obsession about conferences. Kansas winning the national title won't make me feel warm and fuzzy
Yet Iowa has beaten higher seeds than the clowns. Must ignore. Only clown fans wet themselves over beating a 13 and a 12 seed.
The thing is that isu grads love to tout SOS and that has proven to be bogus for the last 6 years now. If SOS was accurate then the Texas Ten would be better in the tourney than they have been. So when clown fan says the Big Ten sucks they must ignore how bad the Texas Ten has been.
Nothing new there, isu grads always ignore facts that show how myopic they are.
But as always do tell us how it really is.
It clearly gets under your skin so I'm all for whatever they are doing. I personally don't care about the whole conference argument. Last year, when ISU got bounced, a Final 4 of all Big 12 teams wouldn't have made me feel any better. If ISU loses Friday I won't care who is remaining as well. Except for OU, maybe. I like watching Buddy but that would be the case even if he was in the Big West.
I simply point out facts that show the arguments isu grads love to tout are bogus. It drives isu grads crazy. If it didn't get under the skin of isu grads this thread and many others just like it wouldn't be 5+ pages long. In fact the more isu grads post the more they prove my arguments to be spot on.

They were over rated as much as Baylor and WVA were. It is funny though, isu grads in this thread have said the Big Ten sucks yet as we sit currently the Big Ten has more tourney wins than the Texas Ten.
The next isu grad to say the Texas Ten was over rated will be the first. Will that be you cy-city or will you do as all good isu grads and simply ignore what shows yet another clown fan argument to be bogus?

My argument is consistent regardless of what conference a team is from. That is the whole point. isu grads love to pick and choose when their arguments should and shouldn't be valid. Then isu grads get down right pissy when this simple fact is pointed out.

You never answered the question. Who was and is the better bball conference this year? BIG or Big 12? It's a laughable question and the Big 12 has 4 fewer teams.
Right now the tourney says the Big 10. The Big Ten has more wins. In fact the ACC is turning out to better than them both but that really won't fly for isu grads. isu grads are better off living their lives by simply ignoring what they don't like. Then they get all pissy when anyone points out exactly what they demand to be ignored.
50% of your conference didn't even make the tournament. Itd be down right embarassing if the BIG doesn't have more wins you have 4 more teams for crying out loud.
More than 50% of the ACC didn't make the tournament yet clearly they are playing the best out of all the conferences.
So now it doesn't matter how many wins a conference has in the tourney. What matters is the % of teams from the conference.

I recall you Hawk fans screaming to the mountain tops that you were 12-0 in football and that's all that matters. Schedule was irrelevant. Take it up with Purdue if you're mad that ISU got to play a 12. ISU beat the teams before them and now they get a stiff test. Win or lose, it's fun to be in the mix and have a shot.

Hawk fans didn't care who we beat to get to the Rose Bowl but that wasn't good enough for clown fans. Now that the shoe is on the other foot it isn't fair to throw an isu grad argument back at them. Who the clowns played to get to the sweet 16 is irrelevant. isu grad has been telling us this for 5 pages. Shall we go for 10 pages? Sure isu grad and their little bro syndrome won't let it die.

If you are unable to understand the correlation between the number of teams in a conference and the number of wins in the tournament you need some help. The more teams in your conference the better your odds at winning more games in the tournament.
If isu grads feeble argument were remotely close to being correct then the Pac-12 would also have more wins than the Texas Ten.
Must ignore. isu grad demands it in order to cling to yet another piss poor argument.

The AAC has more teams in their conference than the Texas Ten but guess what the AAC doesn't have nearly the number of wins in the tourney.
The MAC has more teams than the Texas Ten but it isn't impacting how many wins they got in the tourney now has it?
Conference USA has more teams than the Texas Ten but guess what it doesn't mean they are winning more games in the tourney.
