Just a question as I am trying to gather more facts. I have seen Dems calling this kid a racist, is there any place where he has made racist remarks, etc? I saw a comment on Facebook that this kid was raised in a racist house with these ideologies, where are they seeing this? Is it because he is ProTrump and Pro Blue LIves? From what I understand he was there to help cleanup and protect. THere are pics of him cleaning up graffitti. I hope we can find out soon why the Pedophile was chasing him, did he pull the gun on the Pedo? Wasn't sure how the racist narrative plays into this as all 3 people were white.

ok.. I am not Left or RIght. I feel this kid was stupid for showing up to this and shame on his mom for bringing him. So I feel he was protecting himself and wasn't the first to shoot. When he shot the final guy, he got up and walked away. He could have went right after the elbow guy to finish him off but he didn't. He walked away. When he walked by the cops he had his hands up. I know a lot of people are mad the cops didn't shoot him because they shot Jacob Blake. I think the kid should have stopped and said he just shot 3 people instead of going home, that was stupid too.

Except he wasn't a manager or owner of the business, and he was committing a crime. Both items which exclude him from self defense in Wisconsin. He may still get off, but according to the written law he doesn't qualify. Everything else to me holds water.

Assuming what he says in the op "I work there" "I work at that business" is accurate it may go under the castle doctrine. One of the fsu guys says this is going to be tough siting an event that happened in a home invasion but I think they are going to be able to say he was defending the property outside because that is where the inventory/valuables were. If they can prove he was in threat I think it will just go under self defense. Wisconsin doesn't even have the "need to flee" portion of stand your ground so him running away before firing is only going to help him

Wisconsin law appears to very narrow. Has to be in or around, vehicle or house, or Owner operator of business. That is it. I am sure the defense will try to state otherwise, but I am not sure he is covered by the law.
With this logic shouldn't anyone who saw him running around could have claimed they feared for their life and fired. Sounds like shots were fired somewhere, but by the video/stills it wasn't the guy chasing him who he shot. Then, once he shot the guy others pursued him because they just witnessed a guy shoot someone.
Let me ask you this. Had the guy shot in the arm had pulled his weapon and shot the kid dead in the street and he claimed he saw him shoot an unarmed man a block away and then while pursing him the kid turned with the gun and fearing he was next he defended himself... would that work?
Said it before and say it again. I don't understand people's need for having guns nor do i understand the thought some have of wanting everyone running around with one and shooting it up like Dodge City. Leave this to the police and military.
That kid was an idiot to be there with or without a gun. That said, he was protecting himself from a certain beating and potential death. Those dudes were going to curb stomp his ass and I don't think he had much of a choice but to shoot them to protect himself. Also, anyone who thinks those were peaceful protestors is blind, stupid or both. Those were some dudes looking to beat someone.
Good question, I don't know. It would be a little harder to claim self defense considering he was the pursuer. Kyle was literally running away from everyone he shot that night, no exceptions.
