Ferentz vs. Dantonio: Their head to head record

Their loss in Nebraska was karma for their win in Ann Arbor. They should be a one loss team and they are.

I'm pretty sure it was 2009, and he (Rucker) was covering McNutt when 7 got 6.

we put a beatdown on them in 2010, 37-6. The following year, they were back at kinnick for a second year in a row and they came out and throttled Iowa the first half. Iowa was making a comeback, and then a comet flew over the stadium causing all kinds of injuries for michigan state

I love the fact that MSU is rolling right now. That way when IOWA beats them the naysayers will not have any excuses. If we want to be considered great years down the road we need opponents like MSU

Blah blah blah

We better come with an A game or it will be a long night. These guys are real good.

We have not put together a dominating effort since NW. We've won but there have been struggles.

And we smoked you the last time in Iowa City. This is the same University that has a life coach for all your sports because all the past arrests. Get ready for lobber knocker next week. We will see if your weak schedule will hurt you.
Iowa could've easily made a game of that, if they hadn't stopped playing midway through the 3rd qtr. They moved the ball late, but had run out of time.

But hey good news is, since you got us in that game, that means we're due a game (i.e. you owe us one). Turnabout is fair play. You've got your championships. Now it's our turn. Deal with it.

it will be interesting to see how Dantonio creates his faux chip on the shoulder thing this week since he'll be favored. I still think we will see in the coming years that Narduzzi was the brains behind the operation. Dantonio is a good coach, but he has also benefited from a weak Ann Arbor and PSU over the last 5 years.

Farty has a flair to throw in the occasional trick play. Ex; the hook and ladder the year that McNutt extinguished them on the slant across the middle.

And all we have to do is "win" again, no need to dominate. Apparently you didn't hear Kirk yesterday when asked about style points. "Style points are important in gymnastics, we just want to score 1 more point than the other team"...

I will never forget those guys faking injuries. Happened at least 5 times. Guy would lay on the ground walk off under his own power, then be in the next play. Sad display of sportsmanship rivaling European soccer teams. Comes in 2nd to Dantonio allowing Rucker to call his own punishment after getting out of jail on a Thursday.

Oregon would steamroll Pitt

I think Dantonio is a dirty scum too, but make no mistake, this will be our toughest game of the year. Their defense is starting to put it together and Cook may be the best QB in the Big 10. Hopefully we put it all together.

From who we played stats look similar however we beat Nebraska. MSU will have a slight edge. I'm thinking it will depend on which D comes up with the big plays. We'll see how it all pans out soon enough

Hate to say it but Sparky looked awfully good today. They beat OSU last week and pounded PSU this week. They got hosed in Lincoln, should be two undefeated teams playing next week.

Cook is a really good and they have great receivers, their front 7 on defense will be tough to run on. I think we can pass the ball and need to stop the run.

Will be a hard fought game, no doubt.

Go Hawks!
They were lucky against Michigan.

Just heard them talking about this on the radio. Not only is Kirk 4-3 straight up against Dantonio, he's also 5-2 against the spread. I don't know what talking head it was, but he like Iowa.
