I’d imagine there’s an ongoing interviewing/ vetting process if he is serious of joining the hawks. Hanging around the room, campus, team I’m sure he’s being watched by administration closely:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Goetz was looking in the window watching him eat at the Bluebird when I walked by last week....
Maybe just wanted to make sure he chews his food properly.
But in all seriousness, they are not watching his every move.
I will be pretty surprised if AJ is not a Hawk.

Well it has been about 16 months since the charges were filed, and he seems to have stayed out of trouble. How long does he have to prove himself?? Just have a short leash when he gets here.

Hell idk, I’m all for it but I know Iowa likes to have a clean image as an university as best they can and he brings a lot of attention.
I’d rather he just drop his nuts out (metaphorically speaking) and let’s everyone know he’s back and he’s coming them in a black and gold singlet. That may ruffle some feathers tho.
