Its his rotations. Just because iowa has a solid bench doesn't mean you should play all 4 of them at the same time with 1 starter on the court.
There should always be 3 starters on the floor. End of the first half, indiana went on a 12-2 run with our bench playing the final 5 minutes. I dont care about someone having 2 fouls. Look what happened when you try saving them for the 2nd half....you lose the game.

Well, there's no denying it was definitely a thing in the past. It's easy to say "I told you so". But I'm glad this team bucked the trend of playing like garbage late in the year.

Too bad the OP missed the last eight games and will miss the coming Big Ten and NCAA tournaments, since he is officially done with Fran.

Officially playing the best basketball of the season. Down 2 of the top 6 players, and another one battling an injury, The Hawks get a big W. They've won 7 of 8 in the toughest conference in the land.

Oh and the guy that isn't good enough to play PG or SG in the B1G, went for 16 pts, 6 RB's, 8 Assts. He did have 3 TO's, but played 34 minutes against a supposedly great defensive program. He was solid ice down the stretch.

And, the guy that can't recruit played a freshman 27 minutes who put up 13 pts., 6 RB's, 3 blks, was 5-6 from the floor and had 0 TO's. He makes big and small plays seemingly all the time.

Just a total dumpster fire.

Well, this year was absolultely like last year. finished w 6 losses. With mr wonderful and all those seniors should have been much better. His recruiting is marginal at best. Illinois is doing much better. so is michigan. nextyear dropoff will be substantial for iowa, and gang.

Drop off won’t be that bad. Iowa will still be a tourney team next year, and will bring in a very good recruiting class in 2022. Fran is building.
