Garza Offensive Fouls

ask yourself this question , IF he lowered his shoulder and bull rushed kriener and kriener did not move where was the foul ? if kriener did not move where did oturu gain an advantage ?

Ask yourself this question. Where did I mention a foul call or suggest that there should have been on that play?

It was the second time that Oturu tried to go through Kriener with no success. This time he got his shot sent back via Garza.

So if I understand your logic, it’s ONLY a foul if an advantage is gained. I can only imagine how terrible of a high school ref you actually are.

unless it is an unsportsman like act then yes that is pretty much what you go by .

You realize that the entire point of lowering your shoulder and bull rushing a player is to force them to move. Your hypothetical makes literally zero sense
he was insinuating a foul should have been called ( he will be on here real quick saying he was not ) if RK did not move was there really a foul ? i dont think i made a hypothetical i was referring to the situation he mentioned . he said RK was bull rushed , i did not .

My favorite part was when he tried to body Kriener like 3 times and then finally forced up a hook shot.....which he missed.

Lol weight room fail.
Pretty sure that was the same time when he lowered his head and bull rushed Kriener. Kriener didn’t even move.
You can lol all you want, but at one point Oturu absolutely lowered his shoulder and slammed it into RK. It was extremely obvious.

papaqueef you are a joke. Here is the sequence of posts and not one person brought officiating into these posts but you. You felt the need to stick up for the refs even though no one was questioning them. I’m glad to see the jr high games got over early today.

Why do you place a space in between all of your punctuation marks ? Where in the world did you learn that ? For all of the lol ‘ ing you do at others , perhaps you should start by looking in a mirror .

Actually, the rule is that you can't intentionally attempt to displace a defender that has established a legal guarding position.

It doesn't matter if Kriener got knocked on his ass, or just laughed at Oturu and asked him if his mother hit harder (which is pretty much what actually happened in the game ;)).........

Now, this is one of those calls that the refs will let the players go unless there is a clear advantage gained. If Kriener set himself up to get knocked over, it would've been an obvious offensive foul call. But Kriener chose to show up the supposed future NBA draft pick.

Just because the refs let certain things go, doesn't mean it's not illegal according to the rule.

Officials are there to "interpret" the rules of the game and enforce them.

Hope that helps...................

you are correct in everything you said but officials work on the premise of advantage versus disadvantage unless an unsportsman like act is going to happen or is happening .

you are correct in everything you said (I know I am.....That's why I said it. :)) but officials work on the premise of advantage versus disadvantage (Yeah......they also suck at being consistent. ;)) unless an unsportsman like act is going to happen or is happening.
Okay.............so what was it that you had an issue with, again?

i dont believe I had an issue with anything . just glad i am able to help you out with your understanding of the rule book . please dont " interpret " my post the wrong way . lol
Lol nah, you haven't told me anything I didn't already know.

I'm glad I could help show you where you were wrong though. :)

Btw, have you ever officiated before?

Oh you haven’t heard about all of the jr high and high school games he’s done? Clearly he’s an expert official.

It was nice of him to say you were both right and wrong in the same post. Spoken like a true official. Just like the hook and hold tonight. The ref said there was a hook, but no hold. If there wasn’t a hold, how the hell did Kriener go flying through the air? Magic?

almost 30 years , 3 state tourneys . btw you showed me nothing but your lack of offciating common sense .
Lol and now the truth comes out. Classic official having officials back. Spent last March madness with a D1 ref and he was an insufferable SOB.. no accountability from that group that “can do no wrong”

And I’m talking about your peer group I don’t know anything about your personally. I’m sure you’re a great guy.

never said they are always right , never . i see plenty of calls i dont agree with . kriener has gotten called for alot of hooks lately . i dont think they are hooks at all . i think all he his doing is pivoting his shoulders around the defensive guys body . i dont think bacari fouled that guy the other night on the 3pt attempt . there are many more and yes most of the time i will have the officials back because most of you know very little about the rules .

Lulz, looks like I struck a nerve.

First, I was right, and now I lack common sense. There's that inconsistency I was talking about. 30 years worth of it, apparently........

Got eem. :D

good , you finally understand .

good , you finally understand .
That you're employing the condescendingly vague a**hole routine that I see most former officials on Rivals go to because of how jaded they are by fans complaining? Yeah, I could see that after your first couple of posts in this thread......

Too bad for you I know how to play that role as well. ;)

You're gonna have to go with a more direct approach if you wanna get anywhere in here.

Lol posts are just you stalling because you can't come up with anything better to respond with. Has nothing to do with you rubbing the idea that you know something the fans don't in their faces, and I know this because you actually don't know.

So yeah.....I've understood this entire time.

You revealing that you're a jaded, bitter ref just helps clear up why you're responding to others the way you are.

That's really all I wanted to know.....;)

Thanks for playing.

condescending asshole routine coming from you , classic .

3 tourneys in 30 years? Once a decade? Is that a good ratio?
the first 10 were not on the varsity level . i had to travel at least an hour and a half on most night to get to a varsity game . had to decide if the sacrifice to my family 3 nights a week was worth it .

So yes/no? I wasn’t asking for an excuse
