Just how good are our Hawks? Illinois is up 30+ points again a terrible Gopher team with about 4 minutes left and starters are STILL in. Hawks haven't done that ALL year when up big in second half. I LOVE OUR TEAM!!!

I really expected northern Illinois to cut down to like 25 but instead our 8-12 guys pushed it from 35 to 50.. that was huge

lol Take it easy, stats fairy. This place is no worse than any other college board. Few here know anything about other teams. Hell... few here really know all that much about Iowa. Message boards are 80% rah rah, 15% the sky is falling and 5% actual facts or insightful discussion.

Kofi just had a 33/13 night against Big Ten competition. I really don't see how you can credibly demean something like that but one thing is for certain. Opposing fans will find a way. lol

I don't think there is any question that Luka is the better, much more polished college player, and he should be. He's been playing the game a lot longer than Cockburn who has been playing competitively for about 6 years. But come on, people. As the NBA draft room ratings show, from an NBA perspective, they're not that different.

Guys on message boards calling Kofi "stiff and clumsy" is funny stuff to me. Compared to a point guard? Sure. Compared to Garza? lol

Not once did I call him that. He looks & moves like Cato was all I was trying to say. You think I'm unaware about how they project? Never mentioned Garza once, not sure why you think I did. Cockburn made a long-ranged block in the Duke game a while back that looked like Cato used do to.

Why don't you tell me who he is comparable to? Can't wait for the Embiid comparison...oh yeah they play so much alike.

Kofi is a bit unique with his Shaq type body...of course Shaw grew into h I s body the first few years in the league by adding 35 lbs of muscle to become a true monster.
I like kofi free throw touch...if he develops range he could be a good to great NBA player.

Kofi is still developing. He's from Jamaica and, not being an Illini fan, I don't know his basketball history in his homeland. What I do know is that he's only a Soph and he will only get better. That's how it's supposed to work. He's going to be a handful wherever he plays.
