Harrahs casino in New Orleans refuses entry to a black female because

Which is why I admitted I was wrong, and was actually the only person in the thread to do so. I wasn't even one of the one's who flat out called her a liar, but yet I was called out. I was called an idiot AND a racist (by you) without the "benefit of the doubt". Heck, even that [idiot] wasn't an accurate assessment of my thread participation.

id·i·ot
noun
a stupid person.

You should have gone with arrogant.

ar·ro·gant
adjective
having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities.

And I admitted very specifically that was due to my unconscious bias; based on 27+ years of military experience, not race or sex. Not sure what else I can do in that regard.

I'm not familiar with this incident. I agree a person shouldn't be slapped and I'm glad the woman in the [casino] video wasn't physically harmed, escorted out forcefully, or anything of that nature.
Seems like I hit a nerve. Look how upset you are about what I wrote on HROT, imagine how the women feels when they were questioning her id’s.

Just engaged in the discussion equal to your participation.

Still noticing you're unable to acknowledge your misgivings, even on an anonymous message board.

Equally telling.

I thoughts this thread was gone.

It's turned into a big bucket of buttholes.

Good work, buttholes!

No misgivings on my part. But if it makes you feel better about yourself, keep thinking that.

I'm not too fond of these scenes that can often happen in casinos. It is the reason that determined me to switch to online casinos and everything related to them. For example, I've been using https://www.vwin88viet.com/ for some months, and I'm delighted. I think I wouldN'T want to get back to the regular casino. I can get the same feelings, excitement, and fun but less stress and scandals. Of course, this is my personal decision, and everyone has a different opinion and perspective, especially on this topic.

Since apparently it's dig up 3 month old thread day ☝️ , here's an update:

There's no denying this was a terrible situation for 2LT Harrison and I'd personally be pissed; however, it's going to be very difficult to prove that the employee's actions were racially motivated. As I understand the sequence of events, Harrison showed a DL that didn't clear the electronic verification system. Then she tells the man she's a 2LT in the Army, but when she showed her Mil ID it was an E-6 and he told her there was no way she made E-6 so quickly. As discussed throughout the thread, her circumstances are very rare, but true (I even had to eat crow).

If the events transpired as claimed, it's just a shitty turn of events with no malicious intent.

Harrison's Claim:

In the lawsuit, Harrison alleges she was denied entry into the casino because of her race, gender and military status.

...after the employee looked at her ID, he told her "there is no way you made E-6 that quick," referring to staff sergeant ranking, and denied her entry into the casino.

Casino's Stance:

Caesars highlighted its policy for employees to check IDs for all guests who appear to be younger than 30 years old.

- Harrison's driver's license did not clear the casino's electronic verification system

- "When asked for an alternative form of identification, she presented a military ID card, but the information on the military ID card did not match the information she had verbally communicated to our security officers"

That's really unfortunate to hear about that incident. It's crucial for all casinos, including Harrahs, to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. On a brighter note, there are some fantastic casinos out there. If you're looking for options, you might want to explore some best USA casinos for a great gaming experience. 🎰
