I don't understand this post. Why politicize which states are hit by a hurricane? Do you really think we can control climate change on any significant scale?

They should just slap him right there on screen and ask him what the hell he thinks he’s doing. How easily these people sell any morality and honor they might have possessed to prop up a psychopathic, narcissistic, lying sack of crap is the greatest mystery to me.
Simple action that would make all the difference in the world...denounce Trump and Trumpism soundly and completely and without ambiguity. Tell him and his followers that they have no place in any respectable political party. Purge that cancer. Support Democrats if that's what it takes...see Liz Cheney to learn how that's done. Take the losses as that ignorant, racist, xenophobic base abandons you and actually build the GOP back from scratch as a true conservative party - you'd find plenty of takers among people now voting Dem out of desperation. Hell, RUN as a conservative Democrat in TN and see how your policies resonate with people. Trumpism is what's tearing this country apart aided by Russian bot farms feeding ignorant people a host of lies to spread.
