Hoping For Iowa/Drake Sweet 16

If the Bulldogs get by Wichita St, USC has the Mobley brothers at 7’0 and 6’10”. Drake doesn’t have an answer for that. No chance.

I am hopeful that the Hawks can find an answer for that. Garza has struggled against 7 footers this year.

anything can happen this time of year

all it takes is Drake getting a lead and the other team starting to panic

its too bad there are not full arenas because everyone would be rooting on the Bulldogs

Drake is the most athletic team in the state. However, they would not be able score with us, so we would beat them. Next year, they return everyone and add Devries. I read Murphy and Hemphill are returning for another year. They will likely be the best team in Jowa next year. It amazes me how many undersized guards like Yesefu get missed in recruiting. He is a JT level athlete, but much more polished offensively.

No chance of this happening....USC over Drake is a cash money stone cold lock $$$. My fav bet of rd 1, especially after watching Drake today. They aren't the same team without Penn and with an injured Hemphill playing 10 min a game (if he even plays vs. USC).

If you like money, bet a lot of it on USC.

Maybe the best next to Iowa.

Only chance is if Eastern Washington upsets Kansas, and Drake somehow pulls off the upset over USC.

Of course given Kansas' history under Self, that's entirely possible....
