I agree that's his plan, but I think it's more likely his fat ass strokes out or has a heart attack and dies before 2028. Plus, in the end, even if Trump is still alive, I think enough Republicans will come to their senses and put an end to that plan. No, I won't hold my breath, but that is my guess as to the most likely outcome.
