Not great when the majority of action happens when you’re trying to stay on top. Don’t think we’ve seen a shot yet. If this is a gatekeeper type match, I’m not thrilled

Nelson in on a single but Ruth peels him off. Gotta finish there. Brands snaps and the Ruth goes double infers but Brands gets out of it. Going to 30 second rides. Nelson chooses down.

Yep, didn't use to be that way. Our guys taking 1 shot a match and gassing late. Embarrassing.

Ruth and Brands should have both been stalled out and dq'd. That was an embarrassment to the sport.
Neither guy doing much. Assad with some nice snaps but not close to scoring. End of 1 scoreless.

Well seemed like every match I watched of his beginning of the year was a weird takedown shootout and he never gassed. This guy was a nobody and Bennett could barely move. Not saying he would've won or handled the guy simply talking body language and how he lost.
Assad chooses down. Abe with a sit out but can’t get free. Gets to his feet and Connell returns him. Assad finally escapes after 39 seconds. Connell with a shot and Abe fends it off. Collar ties in the middle of the mat. Second ends 1-0 Abe.
This is not a guy Assad should be struggling with if he’s looking to AA.
